Shelvey 15:29 - Nov 29 with 3947 views | SgorioFruit | Dominant Swans off to an amazing start and find themselves 1-0 up. Along comes Shelvey and undoes all our hard work. Liabillity. He doesn't fit our mindset nor team ethos.

Shelvey on 21:31 - Nov 29 by Parlay | I wouldn't say get rid of him, he has too much potential for that. Harnessing that potential looks an unenviable task though. |
The majority of teams are well matched, Along comes a bit of brilliance that makes a difference i'e, Gylfi free kick against Arsenal. Perfect cross from Montero, good finish from Gomis. The Swans are functioning really well at the moment, however the likes of Gomis, Shelvey, Routs, Dyer, Ki etc have got to step up to the plate and turn so many winning positions into points, Unbelievably we could have about 6 more points easily had we taken quite straightforward chances.

Shelvey on 20:34 - Nov 29 by ScoobyWho | I can see JJS leaving us in the summer. |
Same. Can see Newcastle taking him for around £10m
Shelvey on 21:57 - Nov 29 with 845 views | Jackfath | If we harbour ambitions to get back into Europe, why on earth would we sell a solid quality midfielder like JJS? Seems like a backward step to me.

I see what you are saying but if we had every player capable of that then we would be up there looking at Champions League places. Ki is playing fantastic at the moment but he is never going to be someone who can bang one in on the volley from 40 yards or produce something out of nothing, same with most of the players you mentioned there. Some times the likes of Bony, Gylfi and Montero cant produce that magic and in that instance it will just be a well contested match. But Shelvey is struggling at the moment, as some have said he looks to be carrying some extra weight too which points to an issue as he shouldn't be at his age. Something isnt right with him IMO, also was a bit petulant today and his body language wasnt good. Things were getting frustrating with Palaces tactics and it was clear Shelvey was feeling it.

Shelvey on 19:41 - Nov 29 by bargoedjack | from where I was sat, Jonjo did some things very well and missed a sitter. He sprayed the ball around well by and large, won some good balls in midfield and was unlucky not to score after the chest down and quick shot, forcing a good save. There was a period in the second half in particular where he instigated some of our better attacking play with break ups in midfield and intelligent use of the ball ... Best player on the pitch today? No. Total liability? Crap? Definitely not. |
Agreed - well said | | | |
Shelvey on 00:29 - Nov 30 with 733 views | NeiltheTaylor | Looked rusty to me. Should been subbed, but also needs to be played and coached back into form.
| Joe_bradshaw -I thought the cryochamber was the new name for Cardiff's stadium.
