Cheated by the ref again - how long does this continue on 23:00 - Oct 28 by LeonisGod | The first goal was the game changer. But with Fed on the pitch, we (jonjo) wouldn't have lost the battle that led up to their second as far as I could tell (although it was up the other end so didn't have the best view). |
Tremmel has a lot to answer for regarding the second goal. Horrific goal keeping.

Yes better to lose in 90 than lose after 120 and be totally knackered

Cheated by the ref again - how long does this continue on 01:49 - Oct 29 with 1051 views | phact0rri | It's quite rare for me to flare emotion when I watch football. Win, lose or draw and I feel for my club based on the way they play and if they put in a good shift even if we lose I'm okay with it and feel quite positive. This decision though... it made me so upset. I screamed outloud. Its so infuriating, and sure its par for the course but it makes me so upset. These last few matches, begin to remind me of being a welsh lad outside of wales. Both in england and america-- though the latter was more about being british and it made my childhood ridiculously hard. And I hate to see these thing because it sours football for me. It makes me ask myself if its even worth watching when I get this way.

| Tubbs: Will heaven be like Swansea? Edward: Yes, Tubbs. Only... bigger. |

I haven't seen the challenge but it sounds like we were very harshly done by. Were we well on top before Balotelli's goal or were we dropping back too deep and inviting pressure on? To be fair without some first choice players like Gylfi it sounds like we did very well apart from the last 4 minutes and of course injury time

Cheated by the ref again - how long does this continue on 09:06 - Oct 29 with 826 views | JackFish | I didn't think it looked like a free kick at the time, let alone a red card, but it's always quite difficult to tell properly when you're all the way down the other end. Having seen it again though, what an absolute joke of a decision it was, that should definitely be rescinded. If we're without him for the next three games because of that it's ridiculous. Every time we get a lower league ref they seem to do something ridiculous. Attwell against Havant, that clown against Scunthorpe and the t0sser who single-handedly got Stoke a point last season. Usually these refs get sent back to the lower leagues never to be seen again, but only after we've been used as guinea pigs and they've cost us points or got us knocked out of a cup.

We played most of the game in 'containment mode' but Liverpool didn't threaten really. It was an inspired cross and a neat finish. Yes you could argue we should have stopped the cross and stuck tighter to BellyTelly but it was a bit like when Agbonlawhore scored against us last season; Borini's cross was too good and I would applaud that. Monks thought it was soft though, and I can see where he is coming from, but I think it's because no one could really foresee a Livertool goal at that point. The second goal really was a load of old arse after a seriously incompetent decision that actually stopped what might have broken out into an intriguing extra half hour.

Cheated by the ref again - how long does this continue on 09:30 - Oct 29 with 776 views | perchrockjack | mon. Morning. That s a fair assessment and we re all gutted still at how quickly the games turned. The red card incident, from where we were, was very hard to assess but it certainly affected the organisation for the winner. On returning home, Radio Merseyside reporter reckoned never a penalty and this from a local standpoint. On seeing it on TV I thought to myself, "not again". We ve had three appalling red cards yet some of our lot dont seem that outraged and blame other things so Im sorry ut some of our net fanbase clearly (to me)have an agenda with Monk and want him replaced but wont come out and admit it. As I say in my other post, what do we do now?, what do they suggest?...Its a time to be positive and I just see posts looking to have a dig right now. We are short at full back; everyone knows that but at the moment there s nowt we can do. The above is my opinion
