Question for TwelveAngryMen 22:50 - Aug 9 with 1210 views | Poolman | I think a lot of people are waiting for the next chance to voice their disapproval of this family's running of the club - personally I don't want to be part of any protest during a game - however I have joined BST and would like to put the pressure on - what next for the Supporters Trust?

Can you give us an idea for those who won't be able to attend TAM - sure a thread on here would be invaluable to exiles and those who can't attend to chip their thoughts in?

For me, the only way forward is to starve the family of their wealth and NOT the football side. So start a campaign to boycott the estate agents, the club's lounges (which I believe all the money from goes to the O's), that Lancashire Life mag etc - and also get contractors and businesses to stop doing work with them. The harder it is for them to trade away from the football club is for me the best way forward.

Question for TwelveAngryMen on 07:00 - Aug 10 with 1076 views | PoultonFlyer | The Key is the outcome we want, as much as many want the removal of the Oystons what is wanted is a good, competitive team, that is well prepared, well managed and has the best facilities we can give them and therefore the best chance of success. It could be argued we will get none of this with the Oyston family in charge. Constant media attention with focus on the finances will help both causes, not matter what anyone will say, so keeping as many organisations and journalists in the case is important. Constant pressure and focus over time will work, just like backing the team and the manager none stop will help too. Boycotting other Oyston businesses is also a legitimate way to make a point however it needs to be agreed and have as many people behind it as possible. The key for me is to get as many supporters as possible to join BST, and as many other none supporters as possible to be aware of the problems and of what BST is doing. Having one large, well managed and democratic organisation as the voice of the fans, is key to this succeeding for me. We all want the same thing, we need as many people together as possible. I am also afraid that patience is needed, as is persistence.

BFC_Tim Lancashire Life magazine has had nothing to do with the Oystons since he sold it in 2000. He then set up The Lancashire magazine and Yorkshire Ridings magaines in competition.

After such great momentum over the last few months, I do worry that BST will become 'the voice of fans' but actually very little else. The O's aren't going anywhere. It's a bit like starting a group in North Korea of people who say isn't that Kim Jung-Un an awful man and I wish he'd leave - let's face it both are power mad dictators and neither will leave because of a few critical voices!

BST are a bit of a dead duck for me unless they find some real money/investor to challenge the Oyston's. We've had the likes of Pilley and Haythornthwaite in the past who fans didn't back and so we now need to look for the next potential investor. Going to need a lot of money though to shift the O's because we know money is the only language they know.
