How can we as fans improve the atrocious atmosphere at home? 15:03 - Mar 17 with 6326 views | DwightYorkeSuperstar | It is no secret that our ground is quiet for most game regardless of whether we are winning or not. If we had an atmosphere similar to the Cardiff game replicated for our remaining home games it would certainly help our cause, instead it is like a library, with the only constant form of noise coming in the shape of moans, groans and boo's. What do you suggest we do to try and regain some pride? Arsenal have gotten a specialist 'singing section' established which has helped them. We already have a 'singing section', it is just that many people occupying this section do not sing. Any suggestions are welcome. #MonkOut / #HuwOut

I am sure POG and those in the East corner will be more than happy to attend rehearsals you can organise or a training camp. I bet Huw would even pay expenses

How can we as fans improve the atrocious atmosphere at home? on 15:24 - Mar 17 with 3594 views | Griffting | You say these things, yet to my knowledge you don't even attend home games.. So you can't really have an input on 'ways to make the atmosphere better' when you, yourself, don't contribute at all. Very hypocritical.

I am sure if the knob turned up for a practice session, the majority of posters on here would request POG used him as a new drum.

With just a tiny amount of the money The Trust received from the shareholders dividend, they could invest in a metronome and have someone hold it next to the drummer each match so he can keep a constant beat and help get some songs going.

I know you sing my friend, this post isn't aimed at you and Garch and the small number of others who sing loud and proud game after game. It's a shame there are not more fans with your passion in the ground on match-days.

How can we as fans improve the atrocious atmosphere at home? on 16:42 - Mar 17 with 3242 views | crackerjack | There's a load of us in the upper eastern end of the South Stand that always sing. Sometimes it's hard to get everyone on board, especially when the quality on the field is so dire. All the bloody crappy advertising along the back walls of the stadium does little to enhance the atmosphere too. Sometimes it feels like we're sitting in a copy of the Herald! Are flag owners still discouraged from covering it up? Perhaps the club should invest in some advertising of it's own.... along the lines of "Jack Army!" or "Swansea, oh Swansea".... like is evident (and I fear to utter it.....) at Old Trafford, White Hart Lane, and even CCS (Welsh Flags). I understand why POG not being 100% in time might annoy some, but at least the guy is trying. Perhaps some of his critics could have a go at drumming up an atmosphere themselves? I do wonder if the club selling STs in the NE corner has kind of sanitized the "singing section". Maybe expansion will help that by allowing those there who do not want to sing to move.

Your final point is something I have mentioned previously and something The Trust should put forward to the board. I doubt it will happen anytime soon though. The Trust seem happy to sit quiet and do nothing these days, there must be something in it for them to do so.

Another solid idea. What a great thread this has turned out to be. It wouldn't surprise me if Phillip or his lap dog post while I am offline and close the thread. That tends to be how all my good threads end up. Anyway, I have another solid idea. We identify the 'East Stand Screamer' and book him into the same hotel the opposition are staying at the night before the game. He can ensure they get little to no sleep and are not 100% for the match the next day, that way even with a poor atmosphere, incompetent manager and egotistical chairman, we should be able to win the match and maintain our English Premier League survival.
