I may be wrong but haven't seen any evidence on him being a 'money whore', if that was the case he would have signed for Cardiff as they would have thrown money at him. He could have left Blackpool last season but stayed to play first team football the develop faster instead of playing now and again fir a big tram. Also his father is just doing everything he can to get the best deal for his son, like most fathers would - especially if you had been at big clubs and you know how contracts and negotiations work like Paul has.
Personally I would love to see Tom come here, even on loan til the end of the season. If he leaves for a bigger club then but helped us stay in the league so be it ... That would be great business for everyone involved! | | | |

Getting the best deal for his son was not his primary objective when he managed Blackpool, it was to get the best deal for the club. He got his priorities wrong and got sacked. | |
