Thanks. Sounds like Wednesday ā€˜old mannedā€™ us into losing that game. Hopefully old man Bannon isnā€™t around for much longer.

Central defender

Would a top championship team buy Dunne to play as a central defender?
And if so, why?

I love him but heā€™s not in the top five central defenders at Rangers. Indispensable as a right back, though.

Would have liked:
Matt Jarvis
Craig Hignett
Micky Hazard

(Didnā€™t Ruddock do a job for us?)

Leicester City v Q.P.R Match Type Thread.
at 13:21 12 Jan 2025

Sorry, meant to up vote this.
Thatā€™s the point for me. I am still worried about getting dragged back into the relegation battle but what is the point if we donā€™t try and beat a prem team when we have the chance, in front of so many fans.
Commercially, a cup run generates enthusiasm amongst existing fans and brings us to the attention of potential fans.
Not changing it up at half-time was really disappointing.

Happy New Year My R's - Preview

Thanks, Clive. Another great preview so soon after another great match report. The best ground in football, the best kit, the best fans website with the best journalist. Being a QPR fan is great.

xmas fixtures, a mystery
at 11:50 28 Dec 2024

That does make sense, I guess, with the lack of public transport making things difficult for travelling fans on Boxing Day and New Yearā€™s Day. A very rare example of some consideration being given to match going fans.

It is strange that the teams who played away on Boxing Day are the teams playing away on Sunday, too. What logic would explain that?

Yes, it must help Smyth that we have another dynamic player. Smyth has been more effective since kolli came in.

Saito as player of the season (bar Nardi)? I really like him but wouldnā€™t put him ahead of cook or dunne, or maybe even Smyth after the last few games.
And chair is in a different class.

Thanks for posting. I never understood why Warnock signed the sewer rat. He went right down in my estimations when he did. Itā€™s not like the rat was that great a player.

IRRELEVANT People that INFLUENCE younger players and their POTENTIAL CAREER opti
at 17:31 9 Dec 2024

But what if we take into account all the players who have renewed their contracts, and all those new signings who never signed.
Maybe we are favouring current players over new signings.
Or maybe we have it exactly right.
We just donā€™t know, do we?

A Walk in the (Queens) Park.
at 04:59 30 Nov 2024

Loved that. Thanks for posting. Ive never lived in London but my parents lived in fifth avenue as children and that brought back memories of trips to see my grandparents and walking round the cemetery on a Sunday afternoon. Just added his books to my Christmas list. Which so far reads 1 Beer, 2 London walk books.
Nowadays, I just go to the pub and Loftus Road. Iā€™ll have to do an extended visit some time.
