Shame Lallana wasn't given the job until the end of the season. What did we have to lose? Who knows, he might have turned out to be an excellent manager (young coaches seem to be the fashion nowadays). After all, he's played under some outstanding managers and Brendan Rogers. |

Quite right, freedom of speech and all that. But why does my comment not help? If he's genuinely pissed off to the point that he'd like to see the club dissolved (which some may consider a somewhat selfish attitude) it seems like a reasonable suggestion for him to form his own club. FCUM appear to have done ok. |

Exactly. Less than a year ago we were having an amazing day out at Wembley. Things change very quickly in football... for better and for worse. Real fans stick with their club through thick and thin. That said, I don't think there's anything to stop St Mark from going off and forming a new rebel club if he's that disillusioned. I'm sure there's plenty of wrist slashers on here who would help him. Given all of the above, and without the safety net of VAR, it probably wasn't the brightest idea for Leicester to collectively step out and try to play United offside. |

It's crazy how people seem to be totally oblivious to this factor. Some are frothing at the mouth over our failure to spend tens of millions on players who will make absolutely zero difference to our league position come the end of the season. It's the same with the folk who want to get rid of SR. I'd love to see their list of alternatives. Or maybe they want 10 point penalties, administration and potential liquidation? |

Dibbling is the closest we've come to another young Le Tiss. Without having too much pace he still manages to somehow wriggle out of tight situations and glide past defenders like they're not there, just like Matty did in his early days. He also has an uncanny eye for goal, and in a much better team than ours he would be scoring loads of goals. In an absolute sh*tshow of a season, him and Fernandes have often been the only players worth watching. Mind you, he seems a bit grumpy at times, so whether he goes on to become a huge superstar probably depends on his attitude (and possibly his agent!). |

Hopefully most fans are realists. This season was always going to be tough, although admittedly no-one could have predicted quite how tough. Anyway, storming the gates of St Mary's is hardly going to achieve anything, unless people want Sport Republic to jack it in and leave us on the verge of bankruptcy again. Two years ago at this same time people were asking the same questions and we actually had a decent season the following year, culminating in one of the best days of our lives at Wembley. Things change very quickly in football. |

I'm surprised AA turned up to do it. After all, he sneaked off the pitch pretty sharpish after the match with most of the rest of the useless b*astards. Only THB appeared to show any genuine appreciation of the fans. Times like this you find out who really gives a sh*t about the supporters. |

Strangely enough, the same thing happened in the Leicester 9-nil . The Northam actually got louder. I quite enjoyed the second half last night. It's probably the same odd feeling of peace and serenity that drowning people apparently experience. |

I'm not being told what to do by you or anyone else. I actually look forward to going to games, seeing friends and having a few beers, supporting the team through thick and thin. Besides, a few people boycotting will do absolutely nothing. Especially if they don't actually go to games in the first place. |

Watching it back, the ball was way over Stephens' head. Even Tall Paul wouldn't have been able to have headed that. Solent were very complimentary about JS in their commentary. |

Most people round me thought the Tall Paul song was funny. And from my spot in the Northam the away fans are definitely quieter than they were last season. If and when Saints starting winning (big if) I reckon the atmosphere will be great in the Northam. |

The reason most of us don't boycott games is because we actually love going to games, meeting up with mates, having a beer and a laugh. Yes we are all desperate to see Saints do well, and sometimes during really bad times we do wonder if it's all worth the time and money, but most of us have been around long enough to know that in general the bad times eventually get better, and equally the good times don't last very long. That's one of the occupational hazards of following a team like Saints. If fans simply stopped going because the team was crap, or because they didn't like the manager, the club would have folded decades ago. Fortunately the vast majority aren't like that. |

Is this the same manager who would probably have been sacked a fortnight ago if the officials hadn't made some terrible decisions in his team's favour. As always, you have all the answers but absolutely no solutions. |

Our style of play does have its benefits. As an old git with a dodgy bladder it's a comfort to know that I can go for a slash at any point in a game and by the time I get back to my seat the ball will still be roughly in the same part of the field. |

I'm really pleased for the folks who say that £30 (plus booking fee) is reasonable for a game just before Xmas that's on TV and we will probably get stuffed in. I'm glad they're all doing well. Unfortunately not everyone is in the same financial position, especially at this time of the year. |
