Have the club seriously given a manager from league two, coming into his first championship job, the sort of wage that we would not be able to pay off? or at least continue to pay until he is picked up by another team? whilst we move on to new manager? I know the club have a lot to change and get right going forward and quickly, but that would be criminal to back yourselves into such a corner in any line of business. Managers these days are barely making it past 2 years, whether sacked, or taken by another club. I can't imagine a single club in professional football, would ever put themselves in a position, that they cannot get rid of a failing manager due to the finances, this is catastrophic if it really is the case, he has run his cause here, he is all out of ideas, sounds defeated and the players are lost. We may not go down this season, just due to the fact that we have a points gap and 3 of the bottom sides would now have to hit play off form, but if we carry on as we are, we are playing with fire here. Gareth Jennings? Believe Darren Witcoop tweeted we had moved on from him, however he was the only one I seen reporting that at the time, is it still a possibility then Keith? |

Would be ideal. Do wonder how willing Wycombe are to sell Low though, don't they get some sort of a fee even if he runs his contract down to the summer and if recent reports are to be believed, they have turned down a 6M offer for Kone, they seem very reluctant to do any selling at present. |

I'm holding out hope that removing LW right now will only add fuel to the chaos of a January window and the club are just biding time for another week on that one. Far from defending AC, but we are something like 12 weeks on from the removal of previous ownership and had managed to get to 9th in the table just before this transfer window opened. I think most of us can agree that it looked like we would navigate our way comfortably through this season, even with a mediocre LW and make the necessary changes on all fronts in the summer. Fast forward a month and the manager has derailed that with the WBA stuff, the captain has asked to leave. I do still retain hopes for the new ownership and really hope that this has been a lesson to AC that football business moves very fast and things can change in a heartbeat. Have read that the club have lined up a DOF type, but they are having to work through a notice period at whichever club they are at, can only imagine AC and the club wished now they had acted a bit quicker on that one, given the way the last 6 weeks or so has unfolded.
