| Forum Reply | Why Do Managers See Different? at 17:24 6 Feb 2025
Just to add, there's all the difference in the world between a targeted ball over the top to a striker hanging on the defenders shoulder to run onto (Vardy, or Mitchell against Yeovil) and just hoofing the ball expecting Mitchell to outmuscle his opponent with his back to goal (Oldham) |

Great initiative Solar panels aren't permanent fixtures, and can presumably be re-located if necessary, i.e. if the roofline of a stand was changed. I agree though, looking much more likely to be at the COA |

That's precisely why bringing Hendo on for at least the last half hour was required At one point, Mitchell broke down our left but i watched Rodney struggling to raise a gallop to get into the box; in fact, he never made it, and the chance went begging Hendo would've added that bit of professional know-how that was missing It's great to be optimistic about our chances of getting into the top 3 or 4 but putting all the factors together, we're just not consistent enough and in-game decision-making is lacking [Post edited 5 Feb 15:52]

Having a police presence alongside the stewards in the Willbutts made a huge difference - as suggested earlier in the thread |

Not much to add to what's been said Bringing Hendo on as we approach added time doesn't do either him, the team or the fans any favours, but the game was gone by then and it was only Waller who kept it respectable We're in the pack chasing the last playoff place and really don't think the games in hand will take us into the group challenging at the top. It's far from being disastrous, but tonight showed us where we are in the pecking order [Post edited 5 Feb 7:20]

Three or four coppers stationed at that corner, immediately ejecting anyone who strays to the front barrier, would sort it The club pay enough to have them sat in their control box... |

First ever national trophy We've won the Lancs Senior Cup, which used to a be more prominent competition when we beat Oldham in the final at Spotland in 1971. I think we've won it again since too But i agree, this is something that could bring real attention in the town to what's happening now with Dale [Post edited 4 Feb 15:00]

Heavier rain now forecast tomorrow afternoon No doubt there will be calls for an early pitch inspection, but the priority must be protecting the worst area(s) with the additional rain covers Drier from about 5pm onwards, so that should be when the covers are removed |

I've lost count of the number of posts you've made today, whilst being "busy" at work In the time you've spent posting, you could've registered yourself half a dozen times |

There were NO ticket restrictions at 10.30am this morning, except for those with an address registered on the Oldham website |
| Forum Reply | Oldham game at 12:57 3 Feb 2025
Why would it be? For the same reason you didn't go onto the club website earlier when tickets were on sale, because you knew it'd reject you buying tickets for this game |
| Forum Reply | Oldham game at 12:41 3 Feb 2025
Yes it would Your Hull address would be registered on the Oldham system, as i said |
| Forum Reply | Oldham game at 12:40 3 Feb 2025
"...none of use have a registered email on the ticketing software..." Because you're all Biffos, with an address registered on the Oldham system |
| Forum Reply | Oldham game at 12:33 3 Feb 2025
Indeed! The ONLY reason anyone would be looking for "spares" in the Pearl St, when tickets are still available on open sale, is because they'd fall foul of the address-checking process the club has put in place to prevent those with an address registered on the Oldham system from buying tickets This would include "realistic" himself, of course [Post edited 3 Feb 12:36]
