I think that was 1976. We played Leeds last game of the season at home and it was a big crowd. I was in the Loft and there was quite a few Leeds in there but I don't recall it kicking off. |

Don't encourage him. He will get all big-headed! |

I agree but I think a lot of us Dads can take a bit of credit as well. In our group there is a lot of our lads that come, and they have all become mates with each other as well. There is also a few 'mates of mates' who love the day out even though their first teams might not be QPR. |

Gut feeling an extension is announced today ahead of the game. |

It was the last leg of my over 1.5 goals accumulator so it didn't go down well with me when I saw that earlier. |

Wasn't the clue in the opening post 'if fit'? So for me JCS and Cook. Did wonders for us the second half of last season. Fantastic that we have plenty of options there now. Morrison looks a real find. |

I remember that NME issue well. Being a JD fanatic, I was endeared to him at the time, although I recall the snobbery of the writing, effectively saying, he wasn't your average thick footballer. I think he may even have gone to Uni or had A Levels. They made a point about that as well. |

I agree. Most improved player for me so far this season. It seems barely recognisable as the same player. His decision making has improved, he draws so many free kicks and is a real grafter as well helping out in defence. |

Marlow is a nice spot. I have crossed that bridge many times and stayed at that hotel a few as well (when a deal is on obviously!) |

I've never lived in Croydon, but I assumed not many would have heard of Purley, which is a few miles south of it. |

Didn't they get theirs just after us though? I seem to recall we were the only one at the time but they followed after. |

I think the same and really hope that is the case. I had a conversation walking away from our defeat there earlier this season with a particularly smug Derby fan. He kept saying how poor we were and at that time they were about 8 points above us. I told him to see where we both were in a few months time and I am delighted to see them two points below us already. |

Just remind me how playing open expansive attractive football has got Southampton this season? Marti seems to have gone back to basics and become pragmatic to grind out some results given where we were in the league. This would seem to be working. Let's get in a more comfortable position and then open up a bit. Having said all that I felt Bristol were excellent and didn't give us much opportunity. Compare that to the Watford game where I thought we played our best stuff of the season. |

Yes, I am not a big fan of PS as I believe he genuinely is not up to this level. However, he really does put a shift in and his pace can cause real problems. He has had a couple of decent games lately. |
