You all deserve a medal more like - 22 carat solid gold with "I kept the faith at Molineux - WTF was I thinking?" engraved on it. Poor bastids... |

Probably because it winds up the woke lefty cry babies like you who didn't get their way? Meanwhile, some of us really couldn't give a sh1t who won. |

But... he is entertaining though - and at least the BBC are all wearing black armbands today which, in itself, is very gratifying. Anyway, will Trump even make it to January to be inaugurated? I think there's a long list of people who would like to make sure he doesn't! |

To be fair we weren't THAT bad at City last weekend & did follow that up with a cup win midweek against Stoke. A few days on and our first league win of the season is very, very welcome indeed. More of the same against Wolves is required. We have a lot of ground to make up. What price three wins on the bounce? |

That'll be a mere £8m per day. While Italy manages to send their illegal immigrants to Albania & Germany is considering using UK-funded, already built accommodation in Rwanda to process migrants, Kier Starmer reckons having a strong word and a stern telling off to the smuggling gangs will suffice. |

Let's be honest, we were at our level tonight. Two Championship teams slugging it out. A win is a win of course, and we'll gladly take that. But... see you again next season Stoke! |

I thought the prisons were full to the brim? Wonder if old Robinson will get early release?... |
| Forum Thread | Billy Davies (Derby 2007-08) v Russell Martin (Saints) Food for Thought... at 11:07 27 Oct 2024
"In Davies's first season as Derby manager he led them to third place in the league and won the play-offs after defeating Southampton in the semi-finals and then West Bromwich Albion at Wembley Stadium, ending Derby's five-year absence from the top flight. Davies signed a one-year extension to his contract. Derby struggled in the Premier League, gaining only six points from fourteen games. After criticising Derby's board for lack of investment, Davies left Pride Park by mutual consent on 26 November 2007 with the club bottom of the league. Some critics believed that Davies was a victim of his own success after overachieving in his first season at Pride Park, while others cited his apparent tactical inefficiencies at top flight level, poor big money signings and suggested Davies had engineered his own departure, in the form of an outspoken rant against the board so as to avoid having a relegation on his CV." |

Pompey mirroring us by staying bottom of the league after the away team came from behind to win it. Despite our looming relegation this season - it would appear that the pikeys are trying their best to drop back into L1 and avoid us yet again! |

Cracking Wednesday goal to put them 2-1 up. Absolute screamer. |
