Doncaster lost 2-3 to Stevenage, who are rock bottom of the 3rd division. Millwall losing to Southend from the 4th division. Villa lost at home to Sheff United, who are two divisions below them.

Well if we need to get promoted with this lot playing for us, I'm not sure if it's worth it from a fan's point of view.
Frankly I'd rather try for mid-table Championship and build a proper team than put up with what's likely if we do go up as it stands. Don't think it'll come to it at the moment - unless there's some kind of transformation we're not going up at all. |
Whether we want to get promotion or are ready for is irrelevent, we need it due to the financial mismanagement last time that sees us with Cesar,Granero,Barton getting paid a fortune.

I know full well what you're saying. And I'm saying two things:
1. I'm not sure that the financial consequences of not getting promoted would be worse for me than actually getting promoted and going through the same as last time again.

I only listened on QPR player (and admit I switched off after 60 minutes and just kept up-to-date with this feed and the BBC website) and so I really can't tell.

I'd looked at lumping on Everton to win until I saw the 1-3 odds. 11/10 was a good deal better and, almost, equally predictable.
