QPR WANT NORWEGIAN FUTURE STAR According to news outlets in Norway, QPR are interested in signing Tromso striker Lasse Nordas. Lasse is only 22 yet has heavily impressed during his career in Norway so far. He has featured for the Norway U21s on several occasions netting 3. This season, he has 13 goal contributions within 28 games in the Eliteserien. He also netted 2 goals within the UECL qualifiers. Valued at £1.5million, QPR are not the only club interested.
What's that Lasse? Someone's fallen down a well and you haven't scored a goal in 4 games?

I asked a mate in Sydney who goes to every single home game of Sydney FC and follows the Aussie league passionately. His response:
"Interesting choice. Brisbane have not won a game this season. Far, far better strikers than him in the league. I'm not sure what someone is seeing that we're not. No, I don't really get it"
Is that a bit of Sydney/Brisbane rivalry or a non partisan view? Roar are clearly a bag of shite but Waddingham has scored 11 from 40 apps over 2 years. In a poor team. And he's only 19. Worth the risk?
Incidentally, we went to the Gabba 1 time. According to 1 of the stewards, its 1 hour behind + 20 years.

Reason we may be interested is resale value. Apparently the asking price is £350k so potential is there to make a profit
Shit but local

Just reading a preview of tonight’s Brisbane Roar game and it says this will likely be Tom Waddingham’s last game for the Roar as QPR have made a bid and there is also “interest” from Sheffield Wed and Boro. No mention of Bayern so maybe we will win the race after all.
According to the commentator on the Roar’s match last night, Tom Waddingham was left out of the squad as he’s leaving - to Portsmouth apparently. No confirmation yet but we may have missed out.

Think I can contain my disappointment.

I can't see that 32yo Schlupp would offer much of an upgrade on Colback, apart from being 3 years younger. Don't know anything about Ekdal nor Taylor. The latter may be more likely if we can't tie Paal down on a new deal.

And Greg Taor, a 27yo LB from Celtic.

He's also a year younger than Cook. He can play in multiple positions where we are very light - left wing, left back, possibly left mid - and has played regularly in the PL for the last decade. He's won the PL, he won the Championship, is an international and has no doubt got two good years at this level in him at least. If either Saito or Paal got injured and he deputised, I think we'd all pretty quickly see the value. His wages have to be way out of reach though.
He did this April. Not sure Colback has managed similar for a little while longer...

OK re Schlupp but with several questions. "Has got two good years" - has he really? At what level? He can't get in a struggling Palace side. Does he want to? Or move to MLS and wind down on big bucks.
