Is it possible for your club to get to double figures, or is that rather unlikely?

Says the numpty that was there celebrating their pot for finishing fourth.

Anyway, while you continue to bore us with your facts, here is two.

1. Your record attendance wouldn't even make Pompey's top ten attendances.

2. We have won more this century than you have managed to win in three centuries.

You are the Newcastle of the South.

Your best attendance this century wouldn’t make our top 500 this century . Ouchhhh

Yep it has been proven countless times that the skate public can’t be bothered. They deserted you in droves in the 70,s and 80’s just when you needed them most too.

That’s pashunnnn nipper

If your fans had a bit more passion in the eighties, you could have won the league.

Your best ever team, and you averaged 18k in a 23.5k stadium. 5.5k missing and 24% of the stadium unoccupied

Let that sink in. If you could have been bothered a bit more, you could have got your team over the line and won a proper trophy. FACT

Its great that you can now have a 90/ 91% (and less without the cheating) filled capacity when you really turn up. ie always near the bottom of the league.

You and Potchy Potch among the other couple of thousand down the Common celebrating these 3 massive achievements?
Limited other interest from PO4?

We've Only had 11 seasons in 3rd tier, none in 4th, can't compete with you there really.

Your club did have one season in the fourth tier. A fact that you lot try to forget.

No facts, the question was did you go down with the other couple of thousand to the Common to celebrate the fantastic achievement of winning the third Div, as 99% of your population couldn't give a monkeys.

Simple yes or no suffices
If no, why not?, you're the one creaming your pants winning Div 3/4 titles

1, Your ground had a 58,000 capacity which you never filled, ours was 32,000, thanks for stating the bleedin obvious
2 Wow

The thing is our best crowd was 51.5k in a 52k stadium.

If you had done your research you would have known that the 58k capcity was reduced.

Still, at least you have had some 31k crowds.

You’re more like Wigan my friend . They tried the prem and like you they just couldn’t handle it. Similar crowds 🤣

Never mind you can go back to sitting on your granddads knee and he can tell you about Pompey’s massive haul of trophies when dinasaurs roamed the earth because you certainly haven’t seen anything with your own eyes yourself apart from a cheated FA cup. .

Meanwhile I’ve see saints years and years in prem, Europe many times , I’ve lost count of the semi finals and finals we’ve been in (all competitions )runners up top , 3 trophies , many top half finishes and years and years and years above your rabble 🤣

So following your logic:

In recent years, if the blue few had a bit more passion and been bothered a bit more, you wouldn’t have ended up back in the 4th tier!

Oh ok, it’s percentages that count now is it!

Well the blue few couldn’t even be bothered when they won Div 1 twice in succession!
Averaging 37k in a 52k stadium for both seasons.

That’s a pathetic 71% and the following year as reigning champions it went down to 63%.

Percentages are king 👍

Saints most recent top flight season had attendance average of 93.9%.

The blue fews most recent top flight season had attendance average of 88.2%.

Quite interesting to note that when Pompey were enjoying their purple patch post WW2 when there were lots of naval personnel in the town and sports starved football fans from around Hampshire went to Fratton to see Div 1 games, crowds at Fratton Park, with a capacity over over 50,000, averaged 37,082 in 1948/9 and 37,004 in 1949/50, very similar to Hull City and Notts County in Div 3.
There must have been lots of spare room for some games.
Since Pompey were relegated to Div 2 in 1960 and Saints promoted the same year, the results and home attendances have been very much in favour of more recent generations of Saints fans despite the fact that for 40 odd years since 1960, Fratton Park had a bigger capacity.
