Some interesting names thrillseeker. Where the he'll so we go now? This continuous merry go round has destroyed our reputation as being a good club to be at. We have tried internal, external, experienced, inexperienced coaches in the last 4 years all with equal lack of success.

The fact is that it proves that the management structure and the policy of only signing youngsters at the club are the 2 main problems at the club and only Mr C can currently sort them unless a new investor comes in.
I have put together a poll on who should get the job.

Who would you like as next Us head coach
Ellis Iandolo 26 Connor Hall 30 Fiacre Kelleher 27 Mandela Egbo 26 Owura Edwards 22 Cameron McGeehan 28 Arthur Read 24 Matt Jay 27 Jay Mingi 23 Tom Hopper 30
*Current ages
Have all joined in the last year or so. Add Hornby at 28 and that's a whole starting XI right there.
Also every one of those players has come from a League One club or a higher placed League Two club.
There's a misconception that our club is full of youngsters. There's actually a pretty good balance in terms of age and experience in the squad right now. They should be performing so much better than they are and I think that's where the frustration is.

Trouble is at least 6 of them have been out injured for a large part of the season meaning we have had to infill with inexperienced youngsters

The trouble is that they are either injured or not hitting the form they can so they are ultimately replaced with youngsters either through fitness or enthusiasm. Hopper in particular is a striker who just can not score.
We really need another 1 or 2 defenders and another 2 strikers (loaning a few fringe players & Hopper out) who are consistent goal scorers.
Couple that with an experienced head coach and then we start to have a decent side who are capable of better.

Are either of those things the fault of the club though? The point I was making is that we haven't signed a load of youngsters we've actually signed a number of players that are of a good age with a decent level experience. Obviously if injuries come along we don't have a bottomless pit of money to spend on replacements so we have to use the other younger players that we have available to us.
On Monday you could argue that two of our best players on the day were the two youngest in the team.
