Just sack Selles now. There's no point in carrying on with this sh*t and he hasn't got a clue of how to change it. He's just making us even worse. Just have a public raffle and whatever supporter wins gets the gig for the last few games.

Yeah said that when jones was manager .
We dont deserve to stay in this division , the players have given up .thinking of their future moves , not about us or the club

Bazunu didn't exactly cover himself in glory just palming it to Eze.

Same as he did to grealish
Went for the first time since the woeful wolves loss and well we seem worse if that’s possible
Walcott is utter gash
Selles is clueless
We are down
As my boy said at least we may see some wins and goals!

I was glad when Jones got sacked and was prepared to give Selles a chance, rather than make another panic decision on hiring another dud.

It is obvious Selles is no better and clueless at this level.
Some of the selections are just as bizarre as Jones.

The style of play has been the same with Ralf, Jones and now Selles. Nothing has really changed, yet they keep playing the same system, with no end product or creativity to break teams down.

Not so sure about wins and goals either. We seem to be going through the motions without any real desire, or clue about how to get a goal. Pathetic really. Apart from Lavia, Alacrez and Sulemane I think the whole of the midfield and attack can be ditched. May as well get Tellah back, he has more on his cv than the rest of our strikers put together. Smallbone can hardly be as ineffective as what we have got, at a fraction of the cost.

These players are unmanageable. Can't put tackles in, can't shoot, one shot we get goes into row z. Can't beat Grimsby. They are a really bad squad with a terrible attitude. Jones as bad as he was, tried to change it (remember the rant about bowing down to players?) But these players then downed tools. They all said they liked Selles, then they play like idiots without any fight.

That's what happens when you let player power pick the manager they want - and when a weak, clueless & soft as sh1t board let them.

Totally agree. Even Roy was available. This owner and board have produced the most pathetic season I have ever witnessed. Defeat to Grimsby was the most embarrassing moment I have seen ever. These players arn't even trying. It's all a disgrace.

Maitland Niles has had a mare at right back.
First goal was his fault.
Just should have stuck with kwp there.

A total mystery as to why Selles hooks Walker Peters out of the RB slot and puts an inferior player in there AND leaves Perraud out.
Is it that he doesn't know what he's doing or is he just a fu cking idiot?
Or both?

And then the whole team stood off, enjoying the view, when Palace scored their second. Nobody jumped in front of it or showed any aggression. The whole team is sh!t. Tall Paul came on and looked immobile and poor. 18 million!!! They have brought in what 10 to 15 strangers, who have never played in the PL? They play like strangers, it's no surprise.

Selles has proved already - in the short time he's had the job - that he's clueless, out of his depth, and totally inept. He is NOT a manager.

Hopefully he'll be the first to be shown the door come the season's end. Our first season back in the Championship under that soft sh1t doesn't fill me with any confidence in the slightest. Pack your bags Selles and fook off.

Second time he's done that.
He did it against Man City.
Why doesn't he punch instead of flapping.

They're playing like strangers because most of them don't want to be here.
Although there's no excuse for that, it must be a little disheartening playing for idiots - first reaction ,
''get me out of here (injury free)'

Trouble is Selles was replacing Jones, and in that context he was a good choice to steady the ship and allow the Jones debacle to be reversed quickly, with the players all behind him.

But his limitations have become clear and he is certainly no better than Ralph, and it’s hardly a surprise that his continuation of ‚Ralph ball‘ is getting broadly the same poor results that Ralph was getting in the last year of so.

Today was completely inevitable, Selles outthought by Hodgson, just as Ralph would have been. Like on so many occasions this season we huffed and puffed in the first half to absolutely no avail, then Palace got their goals in relatively short periods where they tried to attack, and then they held their lead easily.

If we want to stay up, we need to ditch Selles now. He’s going to get sacked if we go down anyway. Bring in a long ball specialist and let’s play to the big man. It’s worth a try and it’s just boring and completely pointless carrying on like this.

Poll: Should we try to replace Selles for the final seven games?

And they didn't want to be here under Ralph, they didn't like it when Jones tried to change things, and apparently they loved it when Selles took over, now they have changed their minds - fussy lot I would say. Now like every manager we have with such a terrible team, Selles looks as lost, stressed, as all of them before, as nobody can get a result with such poor players who don't even tackle or try. They have put together a bunch of useless strangers who were even outplayed by Grimsby. In terms of fight and aggression, this is the most embarrassing and most pathetic Saints team I have ever seen.

Three different managers with the same sh!t players who don't try = the same results.

Where is the goalscorer utterly useless look at brighton how they have spent their money wisely and look at us bottom of the league, clown owners with useless ideas, we are gonna struggle in the championship if we don't invest quickly in new players next season.

We will be roundly trounced in the championship. The standard of footballing skills is probably higher than that in the Premiership which is more about showbiz than play. The owners are rubbish, the managers have been rubbish. the signings have been rubbish and the players are a rabble of gutless c unts.
I don't know how much SR got for the spirit of Southampton but they sold it far too cheaply.

Spot on post. The Championship is full of aggression and physical play. You have to graft to get out. I think this club is finished for years now.

he isn't the first to do that tho
every manager we have had recently has taken joy in playing players out of position
WHY?

So we play Tall Paul for half an hour and how many balls were sent up for him to head? I counted one! Utterly pathetic! We're truly fooked.
Sack Selles now and get Tony Pullis in, he knows what to do with a 6ft 7inch striker.

Can’t blame Jones or Selles for this absolute mess.
They were never going to say no to the job.
Both totally out of their depth.

But now made for life.

The buck stops with Sports Republic.
Their first mistake was not getting rid of a disinterested Hasenhüttl in the summer.
Apart from Lavia all their signings have been awful.

What a fûcking mess.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.
Poll: Knowing what we know now, should we have sacked Hasenhüttl?
