Warburton reported one of our players said he was embarrassed but Saturday's performance. Here's the opportunity to put it right. 2-1 with the Scotstralian scoring yet again.


Where did he say that, and do we know who it was? (Let's hope it was our club captain, as I was embarrassed by his performance myself.)

I wonder what it means that a player reportedly says such a thing, but not the manager. Surely the latter should be harsher, if anything? Part of what worries me about the 'softness' to which Warbs alluded in his post-match interview (shades of Magilton on Buzasky in the dressing room at Watford) is that, to me, this implicitly comes down from the manager himself, if it's true a team tends to reflect his personality.

Fulham was not good (again, sigh) to say the least, though perhaps Clive's report was still a tad harsh, and they have/had a lot more quality beside us. Yet again, we need to show some guts, character and a 90 minute performance for once tonight. Blackburn have taken just a point from the last three games, according to Nick London, and have a lot of injuries. We need to be at the pinnacle of front-footedness from the first minute.
