| News Comment | Me, The Auld Fella and Charlie Austin — Column at 09:17:27
a lovely heartfelt piece of writing; very poignant for me as my Dad is now unable to attend games and there are lots of similarities in our respective QPR stories; just not the same ending yet. RIP to your Dad and i'm sure he's delighted you stuck with this utterly crap team of ours Thank you for sharing that with us; it puts a lot of things into perspective |
| News Comment | Amos power play brings QPR home - Report at 08:51:51
"who turned up to your cousin’s funeral wearing white jeans" excellent work young man! this game reminded me of Cov at home when they were excellent in the first half but i commented at half time that they will run out of steam as the game progresses. I think the relentless movement and switching of the ball from us just wears teams down and they are forced back; rather than do it voluntarily. being sat above Wallace, Chair & Willock for the second half interplay was joyous to watch as they collectively (along with SJ not wanting to miss out) simply took the piss. The Huddersfield defenders are probably still untwisting their legs. great report Clive, probably one of your easier writes; given how good a game it was to watch. ref was shite! |

Great stuff again Clive, you have articulated my thoughts and feelings better than i could ever imagine. 3 games I've made this season due to fixture changes and clashes; not a great return for a season ticket. A couple were bad kick off times that didn't justify a 140 mile round trip and others, such as tonight, are victims of other social arrangements being made to fit the fixture schedule that has now been completely ruined by Sky. So tonight i'll be at a show in town, having kept Saturday free for football....... what was i thinking?! i won't be renewing my season ticket next season unless there is a statement of intent from Sky to alter their tactics as I simply cannot justify £600 for somewhere in the region of half a dozen games. That will be a sad end to decades of ST ownership |
| News Comment | And all I ever knew - Report at 11:53:25
glad i was prebooked for a pub lunch where there is no signal. having read that i'm not likely to hurry back to Craven Cottage; not that we are likely to be playing them next season thanks for suffering that and putting into reasonably bearable words Clive! |

I knew this would be good! excellent report and completely concur with all that you've said about PNE... it must be horrible to watch that shithousery EVERY FECKING WEEK as it kills me just having it twice a year. |
| News Comment | The perks of being a QPR fan - Report at 11:05:34
fantastic stuff Clive your writing deserves games like this, just as much as we as fans deserve them for all the shit we put up with supporting this lunatic asylum masquerading as a professional football club! this season might be better than the past several* *20/21 being the perfect season of 2 halves! |

great report Clive; couldn't make it as on the piss in Manchester of all places; but homeward bound before having the chance to find any of their fans to take the piss out of. will have to follow the first 2 homes from afar due to holidays too; look forward to your thoughts on those. |
| News Comment | About those Geoff Cameron facts… - Column at 12:59:11
Geoff Cameron wrote & played the Eastenders drums closing but never received credit or royalties as he submitted it during his Prince inspired squiggle/symbol period without a correspondence address |
| News Comment | There’s a platinum door - Preview at 12:33:50
excellent article Clive; paints a very scary picture for the potential of football as we know it. Hardly surprising though as that is fairly typical of how the big wheels turn in life in general these days and the rest of us all get fukked over! |
| News Comment | Super City show has QPR right back in the groove - Report at 13:26:36
excellent as per Clive; our new Dutch guy has taken awhile to appear; but was well worth the wait if that is what we have to look forward to! A gradual but marked move from the early season 'not quite at the races' to the current situation as all of the loanees settle in and raise the game! great team performance all round. |
| News Comment | Birmingham late show stuns below par QPR - Report at 08:24:16
nowhere near the levels of comedy required after a game that poor Clive :) although must have been tricking finding the enthusiasm to write anything about it!! think you summed this up pretty well; shit match, shit pitch, nearly mugged them off for 3 points...... possibly a bit too much rotation today but I'd rather Charlie missing for 35 minutes that 35 days if overall it benefits the team. onto next week and at least a playable pitch |
| News Comment | QPR master own downfall in City reality check — Report at 07:46:48
great report Clive with the luck of the bounce this result could have been very different; but having missed the previous matches due to holiday I was quietly encouraged by the team shape & play. Selection wise, post match, I totally agree, but having not seen the previous matches had to go with the flow. Rangel's throw was atrocious and it was then just a collection of fukk ups. Given the number of new players & the 'bedding in' time I wasn't too disheartened overall. Thanks for meeting up with the ticket too |
| News Comment | Antoine Freezman bids adieu — Column at 10:20:00
well done Clive excellent piece extolling the virtues of our best player for a few years; both in terms of ability and attitude. Luke can go with best wishes and gratitude for a job well done also very well done on the general description of life as it is; how it was & how it will be for the foreseeable; hopefully that penny will eventually drop with some of our supporters. |
| News Comment | Spot the difference, QPR annihilated at Norwich - Report at 13:00:55
an equally excellent and shit report Clive..... excellent in content, writing and emotion; shit in it brings home exactly what we are knee deep & wading in! I feel your pain, anger and disbelief at our so called professional players and coaching staff. On Eustace; can someone teach that cretin how to chew gum with his mouth closed. Every time the camera cut to him, he was stood there with his gaping gob chomping on what appeared to be a gluey piece of shit; going by his expression. I can think of more credible reasons to dislike a manager but this will do for starters!! |
| News Comment | Freeman heroics snap QPR's latest losing run - Report at 12:32:30
great stuff Clive despite being there and witnessing it myself I do enjoy yours and Antti's post match warblings. That common feel that ultimately life is shite and being a QPR fan demonstrates that better than life itself; but nights like Tuesday.......... |
| News Comment | QPR blow Forest hoodoo out of the water — Report at 22:51:39
Fantastic report of a fantastic day. Have done that game a few times and gave up, assuming it would never happen for us. Captured brilliantly Clive, well done to all that stuck with it. I salute you all. |
| News Comment | While all around are losing theirs — Column at 06:19:27
Excellent write up Clive. Captures the mood in the westberks household perfectly. Can't believe Sandro has 2 years left to run (run probably not the right word, given how little he is capable of doing) |
| News Comment | Hull profit from Green’s latest catastrophic calamity — report at 15:08:16
Great report Clive. Relieved that i avoided the 140 mile round trip for that, it was bad enough in the warm at home. Even by our standards we are really going all out to completely fukk up the season. We have virtually half a team on the bench not on loan that haven't been given a chance, its not as if the players keeping the shirts are exactly covering themselves in glory. Totally agree about the fans too, chanting at someone pretty much because he isn't Austin is pathetic, they should get used to it as we won't have another like Chaz for a while given the direction we are headed. |
