Like others Im shocked at this. Clearly not performance based.
I think this adds to concerns that the club is lacking football nous at the board level.
I am also disappointed that SG seems to be the public face of the board. He has too much baggage to be playing that role. I know the new brooms seem to prefer a low profile.
Its crying out for someone to take on a director of football role both to provide football intelligence into these decisions and to play the public face of the board in explaining them.
I dont think we should be giving three year contracts to any employee given out current status, never mind an unproven first time manager. |

If we are to get to the final Southgate will have to do something he hasnt managed before…beat a top 10 opponent in a tournament.
I hope he does it, but it has been painful watching. |

No its about the big clubs offloading risk of players not working out. If they work out great…if they dont, no problem they dont have to cough up the add ons.
The risk of a player not working out is left entirely with the selling club. |

Another insipid performance. We do better when it rains…at least we got a point v jocks.
Interesting tournament with wins for Scotland, US and Canada. I had to pinch myself to realise it was not the curling world championships. |
