Hull Reflection

no one is saying it's all Jimmy Dunne's fault at all, far from it

It is Ok to say he didn't play well last night though, other than the keeper none of them did

Hull Reflection

Hunter and Clive summed it up well but for me a few things really annoyed me

Our corners second half, Madsen a 6 foot fella waiting for a short one whilst Chair and Saito stand in the middle, if the short corner does work who are we crossing it to.

Our passing out from the back, 4/5 passes to get out of our box and almost every time ends in a throw in to Hull. It worked once and we produced a lovely flowing move but that's once it's worked all season, maybe mix it up a bit. Maybe watch the master Pep and how his teams play out because it's nothing like this

The defending from corners, everyone back in our own box and when we win it we can't get out as there is no out ball, ends up with us trying to play triangles in our own box and cost us the 2nd goal.

Masden out on the left all the time leaving Field as one man midfield and completely over run, feels like a lot of money we've spent on him for very little, nice penalty though

Anderson needs to be dropped, tries hard but he's gone so far backwards, second half that lovely flick on from Celar and hes away in on goal just shoot but no he stops cuts back and plays it behind Celar who is marked. Absolute coward

We did start the game well with fast passing, it was progressive and good to watch then Hull get a chance and we're back to sideways, back in our own half and going nowhere.

Compare Millar with Dembele as well who has fallen off a cliff since the first 2 games

It was expertly done by Nourry making sure they answered what they wanted to.

I'd have liked to hear more about the recruitment team and what responsibilities they have, safe standing expanding in stan bowles stand and the price of a beer was glossed over a bit, doesn't matter if its estrella or san miguel £7.25 a pint is taking the piss

The idea of hiring the boxes out during the week for office work was a good one and long overdue

I got them in early August gambling that it wouldn't get moved for tv.
The Leeds trains were stupidly expensive though

Dembele

They said when he signed that he was signing next summer and that seems to be what the announcement is, all felt a bit weird but good news we are going to sign him as looks a good player

I was joking about the 3 games, I love the manager so glad he is staying but just find the cloak and dagger approach to how long hes staying for ridiculous.

I just don't see the point in why they are telling us about new deals but not how long for, it's half an announcement

sorry to labour the point but if you don't know the length of the contract why is it a positive step or signs of improvement?

If we lose the next 3 games that new contract might not look so clever :-)

He certainly speaks well, I did find some of his answers to be saying a lot without actually telling us anything and I found what he said about the contracts to be ridiculous but overall hes done a decent job so far

I thought the plan to open the stadium up to hire for remote working was a good one, I hope that takes off

we've no idea what they have signed, if it's another 4 years, another 6 months etc
I don't expect to know details of peoples contracts but to announce players have signed new contracts but leave out how long they are for is bizarre

I never said he has little control I said it was unclear who was signing the players, would have been interesting to hear from him

workplace contracts outside of football don't work the same. If you work at Tesco and want to take a job at Sainsburys you just resign, Sainsburys won't be paying a fee to bring you and the Tesco business model is not reliant on employees being sold for big money so the things are very different.

Also if it's none of our business about their contracts why are they telling us

both can still be true, how much of a say Marti had on the players brought in is not really clear
