Agreed and now we have to find a way out of it. |

Yes a bit of a stark reminder that we have a lot to do but one win from mid table again (pretty much). I think being in the bottom 3 may be a wake up call for the players to start really getting their act together. |

I thought it was to distinguish him from the other well known Brazilian player, Hliverppool Santos? |

I think this comes down to Varane not getting up to speed yet and of course not having Hayden. Varane hasn't clicked yet but I do feel we are a deep mid short still. |

Sorry but what exactly does he say that's wrong in that interview? He acknowledges that they have to defend better, take their chances better and not dwell on it. He's right to say that if we play to the levels earlier in the game that the results will come. Can't really see anything wrong or criticise him for anything there. |

Whatever is going on hopefully the most sensible thing to do is to simply sit down with the player and his representatives and iron it out. It would be a shame for this kid's short and longterm future to be ruined and for the player and the club not to benefit properly from a potential career here. He has a lot of talent. Surely we should be able to manage the player and nurture that talent? |

Yes, I for one thought your comment was very amusing and out the Brass Eye drawer of dark humour. |

QPR CEO Christian Nourry added of Dembele: “Kaddy is like a little inquisitive squirrel. He darts around collecting acorns and twigs. He is 21, so really old for a squirrel but not too old to be an elder 'squirrel leading squirrel' given time. He has a number of areas in which he can improve, notably in his running out in the road and then either running one way or the other, or simply freezing in one place - but it is clear for all to see that he has a special level of foraging that could make a real difference at tree and general park levels." I believe it is as long as Marti and Xavi's contract. |
| Forum Reply | Marti extends his contract at 23:11 30 Sep 2024
Yes, but fortunately the new contract only covers them until the next International break. |

He was definitely one of the good guys. RIP |
| Forum Reply | Is Eustace a better manager than Cifuentes? at 10:37 29 Sep 2024
I think Eustace is an excellent manager and hugely underrated. Probably should have got the job here when Warburton left and we probably would have been fine. But, I think the argument that he is better is redundant. We know Marti is a good manager and that the side is trying to gel this season and generally, even though we haven't been great, Marti has made game decisions that have rescued points. The good thing is that there is obviously a good team bond now in the group. Personally I think the only missing piece is Hayden, who made such a difference last season, but we can't afford him so that is the end of that I guess. |

Poor decision from the ref, there was nothing in it, unless the lino flagged for a foul, but there's nothing in that at all. Just 2 players going for the ball. Smyth is so slight that a draft would throw him into a wall so I'm not sure what the ref sees there? |

He's a the kind of player that if he has a niggle you need to rest him in case a niggle becomes a much more serious injury. Better to do without him for 3-4 matches than half a season. |
