A performance like this really shows, that Monk wasnt just a mediocre defender with very little top flight experience who gained knowledge from the best players and managers in the world, not a manager with 0 experience and with his worldwide network of scouts, is able to sign quality players like Oliveira, Emnes and Caroll. |

Swansea have gona backwards in many ways, since Monk took over.
Biggest problem will be getting new players.... Laudrup had a HUGE network to find quality players.... Montero and Gomis, were 2 guys from his shortlist along with that black swedish guy.... Monk gets shit like Emnes....
Swansea produce absolutely nothing going forward.... Only Burnley, have had less attempts at goal..... which might also explain why the defence is looking better..... Everyone stays back. But what does it matter, when you produce 2 shots at goal against United and still win ?
Outside the UK, viewers vote on which games they want televised.... again Swansea gone from top 8 to bottom 2 - along with Burnley again, since Monk took over.
Monk sounds like a child, when he makes an interview.... its everyone elses fault all the time - blame blame blame.
Having watched a few of Swanseas games this season, they will have a hard time, when/if Bony leaves.... hes been an one man army for them. |

Yeah and at the other end, it was a clear cut penalty, when Bony was "fouled".
Neither penalty should have been given - draw on that account.
Monk needs to take a look at himself, before blaming others. Except for Aston Villa, they are the team in the Premier League, which have created the least amout of chances this season and besides the first 10-15 mins in each half, they were really poor. |

Why was your account created, around the time Laudrup was appointed as manager of Swansea ?
I admit to only watching and rooting for Swansea, because Laudrup managed them. I´m sure, i´m not the only one ;) |

I hoped WBA could get something from this, but i thought even a draw would be very unikely, with WBA awful form in mind.
Do you miss Laudrup now ?
Monk has taken technically gifted players and turned them into fighters.... a recipe for succes.
Maybe Monk, Lita and Dyer, will have more succes in the championship |

Great call by Monk - excellent subs.
He caused a lot of problems for Laudrup, being mad that he wasnt a part of the squad.
Now he will send Swans to the championship.
FA cup, Euro league and PL good-bye !
