Excellent piece Clive, I am a massive fan of MW and the type of football he wants his teams to play. Maybe he will be back................in 2023/24 trying to get us promoted from Div 1 |

Though I agree that Yoann Barbet should have cleared the ball earlier, it was the way Sammy Ameobi took it off him and rolled it square for an unmissable opener..... by pulling Barbet's right arm out of it's socket ! How the ref and his assistant could not see that is amazing but then even the commentators didn't comment. |

Excellent article Clive, sums up how bad the EFL are. EFL executive chair Debbie Jevans was on Radio 4 Today programme this morning and when asked about the Fit & Proper Owners Test all she said was the the sale of Bury was done before they could do the test !! FFS how can that happen ? Create regulations to stop this happening for Christ sake ! Then she kept repeating was "one of the darkest days" in the league's history, well Ms Jevans you certainly help to switch the bloody lights off ! |

Thanks for the report, but I don't agree about Manning and Wallace making that position his own, we haven't seen Wallace play yet so how can you give a fair opinion. Manning has been great so far. Your comments about Smith are confusing "isn’t really an eight or a ten but somewhere in between" - so thats a number 9 then ? I believe you either play Amos or Smith and its Amos for me along side the excellent Pugh who must start and so should Chair. |

Great report Clive and spot on also includes the quote of the season: "Bradley Johnson who also looks like he’s eaten the real Bradley Johnson and assumed his identity. " Bloody Priceless *=)) rolling on the floor |
| News Comment | The season is long and hard... — Knee jerks at 19:08:58
Great comments, especially about Doughty, he will be an asset, my only concern is his lack of pace, he needs to press and attack the ball early otherwise he will be caught out. My main problem with Ramsey is that he doesnt play Charlie to his strength, we all know that if you give CA the service he will give you the goals but Ramsey continues to play CA as a lone striker. He was used as a target man against Cardiff, something that Bobby Z did so well last year. Sometimes I think Ramsey is watching a different match, saying CA had given his all when substituted. I thought he was getting stronger and working harder to close down the Cardiff defence. He had scored his first goal of the season, his adrenaline was running high and the next goal was so important. If Polter had come on along CA I am convinced we would not have dropped any points. We have to place 2 up front, especially at home and I am really excited to see the energy of Polter create space for Charlie. Will it happen before the transfer window shuts ? Come on Urrrrrr's |
