Is there a more difficult team to predict than Col U? I guess if you always predicted 1-1 you'd be doing pretty well but if you predict based on form or league position then Col U are pretty much guaranteed to trip you up. |

I believe there were problems on both the A12 and A120 yesterday afternoon/evening with the area around the stadium gridlocked which caused issues with the parking at the ground. |

Looks like 1958/59 was the first season where the bottom two divisions weren't North and South as they had been previously. I think there's an argument to bring that structure back although might be even more of a struggle for us given that there are more "Southern" teams in League One than League Two right now. |

Does anyone know when the current structure of 20, 24, 24 and 24 in the top four divisions replaced the previous 22, 22, 24 and 24? Also if anyone knows of any other changes to the makeup of the top four divisions it will save me researching it. CheeRS |

Such a poor goal to concede. Flanagan is aware there are two players in the box but instead of demanding someone picks one up he makes a half hearted hand gesture, misses the cross and the spare player scores. Woodyard and Anderson didn't do enough to get back in the box and defend either. I think we were lucky not to concede a penalty after equalising, another mistake from Iandolo who is looking particularly suspect right now. Too many players performing poorly and making errors throughout the match. Once again they look bereft of confidence and belief. |

He's starting to do a good job, they're on a decent run right now but that's it. Many Wycombe fans were disappointed with how last season went. A bit like players these days, you only need to have a small period of success to be considered successful, it's the same with failure as well, just ask Mark Robins. |

Shocking decision. Who do they think they're going to get in that's going to do any better? |

Why? What makes you think this guy would be any different/better? This guy reminds me of Mike Ashley. Also if you're not interested in selling why would you even have a discussion or be prepared to entertain an offer? And if you're that interested in buying do you make an offer that forces the seller to have a conversation with you? |

Seemed pretty pointless to include him in the squad, take him all the way to Swindon and then not even give him a single minute when we're chasing the game. Jay probably has more career goals than the rest of the bench combined. I can't remember another signing that came with so much excitement ending so disappointingly. |

Humes did 19 games that season and conceded 44. Keen did 27 games and conceded 55. Keen may not have done the last one or two games of that season though after our fate was already sealed. |

True but it was much more entertaining than the turgid rubbish that's often been served up since that's generally resulted in less goals and less points. |

Don't forget Hall and McGeehan. You could make a pretty decent team out of the players that were here last season and are now elsewhere. I'd fancy them to beat our current lot too. I don't think relegation is the answer. We just have to keep getting marginally better each season. If you have a shock season like Carlisle did two seasons ago then you possibly end up in the worse place than you started. The same could happen to Crawley. |

Can't see them going for McKenna personally. He's not a big enough name. Humes averaged 1.18 points per game in League One only McGreal (1.48) and Bloomfield (1.26) have achieved better since and nine people have had a crack at it. Also, out of the last 12 permanent managers, we scored more goals per game under Humes than anyone else. At the time it seemed dire but it was so much better than what we've experienced the last four and a bit seasons, apart from Wayne Brown's 22 game stint at the end of the 2021-22 season that yielded 33 points. |
