Geraldo, you have witnessed crap as I have for heart wrenching years. I remember fondly the team of Harker, Smith, Ryder, Leech, Parry, Ashworth, Whitehead, Rudd,Jenkins,Butler..Names engraved in my memory because they were ever present week in week out. I have faint hopes as you will have about next season. Though we have to believe that Mr Coleman will deliver, you know, I have a feeling....!

Nice write up Clive, I've been a Rochdale fan since 1968 and it's so nice to read a comment that just doesn't take the p***. You are bang on describing our constant attempts at survival, our chairman will not let the club slip into the red, unlike many others who abuse their creditors. Hope QPR have a ball in the Premiership AND hopefully displace Chelsea, now that would be brilliant!

Not trying to be witty, I just want as we all do, RAFC to enter into a sustained period of improvement...And success. We all deserve that, surely. I was turning up every week in the early 70's from cheering promotion to quickly witnessing the horrors by 1974 and beyond.I can see where you are coming from but with such a negative view! Let's give the man a chance. I believe a lot of thought and certainly not knee jerking has resulted in this appointment. Cheers G...

An innovative appointment in my mind, let's not forget that the priciple's of the club are to keep showing the way of how to try and run a football club as a true business. Live within your means. Look at Stockport after they beat us in the play off final.. Not even Man City or Chelsea could alter the course of last season. Que sera.... Keith Hill did a good job, but he obviously felt he couldn't take Rochdale any further! Once he had set that seed it would have been Down Hill.. Let's judge Steve Eyre on his talent, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Finally, all the gates need to be at 4,000 plus next season, . Let's get behind Steve and this excellent board. What a season to look forward to! |
