Delighted for George and Maidstone Utd after beating Ipswich. His comments before and after the game were humble but informed and you could hear the passion in his voice. His players had nothing but good things to say and they clearly love playing for him.
I’m sure other clubs will take note and I really hope he is given due consideration when “bigger” jobs are available.

Pitch playable now apparently but an inspection is scheduled for 09.00 tomorrow. Met Office have issued a weather warning for the area and heavy rain is forecast from this evening until lunchtime tomorrow. Fingers crossed. |

If Humes, Cowling or whoever is not dictating how the team is set up, why do successive first team coaches repeatedly set us up to play negatively when it so obviously doesn’t work and certainly doesn’t get the best out of the players?
And why does our significant group of recruitment “experts” continually recruit players who seem unsuited to the negative way we keep playing?
And when we are crying out for some additions at full back and up front do we keep signing loan players for a crowded midfield when all they will do is warm the bench?
And Nouble…why? |

Weather forecast for today and tomorrow remains very cold and currently a few flakes of snow in the air in Lawford. The lawn in my back garden is now rock hard. What chance the game at Mansfield will go ahead? |

Read elsewhere that the positive tests occurred after Spurs insisted the Orient players were tested and paid for the tests.
Orient played Mansfield at the weekend so presumably their players and staff will have to self isolate and have tests PDQ.
Would anyone have known if Spurs hadn't funded those tests?

Chapeau James Anderson...the first seam bowler to take 600 wickets in test matches and only the 4th man ever to do so. A brilliant servant to England cricket.

New ball in use next season, according to OWS. Apparently it provides “Unrivalled power, pin-point accuracy and instant control”. That will certainly improve League 2 football...if true. |
