We hit the traffic coming off the M61 onto the M62 it took us 70mins to reach the whitefield turn off....
4 lines of traffic trying to converge into 1 is the issue.......

I agree about the squad being a couple of players short and the positions in question.

Also to push on and improve the manager has to change things on the pitch if it is not working but is McNulty capable of doing that!

An imrovement for me would be less goals conceeded and more points than last season.

I always look forward to a new season with fresh hopes and aspirations and to see new faces within the squad.
For me this season is a fresh start after what as happened the past few years and it will also be good test for the manager aswell as I see this as his first proper season...
Im hoping that Dale get the season going with three points....

Not everybody has social platforms such as X, Tiktok, Snapchat, Facebook to name a few on their devices etc

I have seen on whatsapp other clubs using that platform to keep supporters updated on new signings, scores, announcements or offers so why are the Dale not using it..

It seems that the 3yr deal big Jim as just signed isnt going down well at all..
For me it is a case of the cheap option with a 3yr plan to get back into the EFL under Jims guidence....

So give him a chance..

Those who do not like the idea of Jim staying on as manager/coach who would you like to see!

The stuborness of Southgate cost England against the Italians in the final and several years later it was all there to see again from the group stages to the final.

Spain where excellent on Sunday and worthy champions but with the so called quality in the England squad performances should have been better.

The insistant presence of an Harry Kane in the starting 11 when he was clearly not fit enough to last 90mins not even 60mins.
The players who managed to get a bit of game time where lucky but you have to feel sorry for the rest of the squad

No matter what I think Southgate had enough of managing England prior to the tournament and he was always intending to walk away..

As for his replacements there are plenty of names banded about.
Potter.
Howe.
Carsley.
Frank.
Poch.
Touchel.

Even Klopp

Experienced younger manager who isnt afraid to make those changes and take England to the next level...

Who!
Well that is the big question as they well go down the route of bringing Carsley up from the U21..

One surprise was that we where at Portpatrick walking from the car to the pub for some lunch when the loud chant of "UP THE DALE" came bellowing from outside the crown....
