Aircraft flying to the East (track 0°-179°) always fly at an odd altitude (e.g. 37,000 feet). Aircraft flying to the West (track 180°-359°) fly an even level.
Since when has politics been more important than football? If you spend your Saturday afternoons watching re runs of Prime Ministers question time than down the Bush I seriously question your sanity! :-)
Two tickets going for tomorrow night at the Electric Ballroom in Camden. Change of plans so can no longer attend. Face value £25 each.....I'll do them £30 the pair.
He would score goals. He would create. Maybe not week in week out but then occasionally would be better than what we currently have.
I miss the maverick in todays game. He was the only true genius we've had in decades and judging by that video he's still go it.
I totally get what you mean though. Let the good memories stay as memories rather than him blot his copy book.
I'd still be tempted by a cheeky loan spell.
All pointless conversation though because as someone else said, why swap the no pressure big bucks in the sunshine for pocket change and a relegation battle in wet West London.
Why not? He's more skilful than Chair. Class is permanent, and when you have that skill and speed of thought to buy you a yard or two (which he does) it doesn't matter if you've lost a bit of pace or engine.
Or you know...we could carry on with Dozzell the creative playmaker.
ADVICE......Do yourself a favour. Go see "Limehouse Lizzy" on tour back end of this year and early next. They are without doubt the best tribute band (not just Thin Lizzy Tribute) I have ever seen. Weirdly, they've been active longer than the actual band.
Here we go again. How many more people do you need to listen to on here before you come to realise that you are literally the only person who thinks Dykes is any good what so ever?
"back to his best" ???? this is his best!
Is he you love child or long lost brother? It can be the only reason you seem to be so blinkered to the facts....despite you keep banging on about Warnock Clarke and Warburton.
Did you watch him play on Saturday...and last Saturday? He literally did nothing of any use, at all, and almost never does. I was hoping that since our last conversation about him that he might have gone some way to prove me (and everyone else) wrong and I could start to see some reasoning behind your unwavering support of him....but I'm going to have to stick to the love child theory I'm afraid! :-)
As Bertie Masson ( played by Tim Healy) once said in the classic LWT film Bostocks Cup..."the thing is you're just not good enough....that's what we need here at this football club is people who better than what you are at football.....they say football is a simple game, it's about running, it's about passing, tackling, shooting, scoring.... I've watched you.... and you can't do any of those things"
For the love of god.....It's BEGOVIC! not Bergovic. What is it with people giving him an R where it doesn't belong?? Have I missed the running joke or something?
I admire your loyalty. So you're saying Warburton and Beale weren't proper managers? Armstrong I agree with you. He just desperately needs coaching in the art of finishing and poaching. The chance he missed against Huddersfield from 2 yards out just highlighted his lack of anticipation and instinct. Coached well he could be a real threat. I hope in 6 months time, if Dykes has scored 20+ goals you can copy/paste these comments back to me and rub my face in it. I'll even buy you a pint!
I am indeed. Clark Ainsworth and Warburton have/had no choice. Warnock must be on drugs.
It's simple. Look at the number of goals he's scored from open play this season and last and you tell me if he's a decent striker. Last season, 39 games... 6 goals from open play and 2 assists. That's it, which puts him 36th in the list of championship strikers.
Would you pick him in your fantasy team? I thought not. :-)
"A decent manager will get Dykes playing properly" Pep, Klopp and Sir Alex combined couldn't get him playing properly. At least not for QPR. Little desire, no determination, very little talent, constantly on his heels, doesn't win headers, second touch is always a tackle. You can't polish a turd as they say.
