I went from a no to a yes recently when visiting Scotland and having not just black but white pudding as well on the same breakfast plate. |

For me the UB's went from brilliant to pretty $hit from Red Red Wine onwards. Probably a sweeping generalisation but how they went from The Earth Dies Screaming and One in Ten etc to that so quickly still pains me. |

My nephew mined it for fun when he was a spotty youth. All his coins were thus obtained free when it first started.
He retired at 28 after selling only one about one fifth of his total coins. |

I remember Watford away the following season. A 1-1 draw then we all went up to the NEC in Birmingham to see UB40, Squeeze, Elvis Costello and Madness. Suggs shouts 'anyone from London here' and half of the audience replied!! |

Loads of great posters on here and a great community.
Particular shout outs to the Frankie Boys who have all become great pals -
LBlock and paulparker - aka Statler and Waldorf - up there on the balcony (every season we are doomed by October) but their love of our club cannot be denied.
Our overseas contingent - silky (NZ), FredManRave (Argentina) and Leon (Auz)
Plus merseyhoop, Brixton/QPsyR (with his three day weekends!), W13, londonscottish, PunteR, westberksr and of course Disco.
Our love of QPR and dance music is our glue.
I have met many others from here too - rollercoaster (FFP guru and voice of reason) terryb (voice of reason 2.0) ,ngbqpr (another font of musical knowledge), hubble and several infrequent posters (or lurkers  ) [Post edited 15 Nov 11:23]

Fulham away when we lost 6 nil.
I was in the home seats with my two boys and we made our way out at four nil. The bloke on the gate looked puzzled as he had to open it to let us out. My son told him we were QPR and he just silently opened the gate with that sympathetic look!
Also, New Order at the Hammersmith Palais back in the 80s. we missed the first time they ever did an encore  [Post edited 12 Nov 15:22]

Yes, the head in the boat hole and even the float bobbing up on the sea surface were genuinely scary. But I think that all comes from the general terror created in Jaws. Great film. |

Funnily enough I have just had three nights in Dunblane and we said we would like to have a few weeks driving up via the Lake District and spend a fortnight up in Scotland just going from place to place. It's so beautiful and despite the rivalry I find the Scots a really nice bunch. [Post edited 18 Oct 8:38]

It really felt important to have permanently signed him from Spurs. I remember thinking at the time it was a steal. Think it was only about £500k |
