It's absolutely ridiculous, whoever is at fault. Just wasted sales at a time when people are going on their holidays and might want a new top to wear abroad, or like me, you've got a kid who's just had a birthday and wanted a Dale kit to wear at training but will get a snide United kit instead. Last season we had a family fun day to launch the new kits. Nothing mentioned about anything like this for this season. |

The likes of Lammy, Rayner and "their ilk" or Sunak, Gove, Cleverly, Dowden, Hunt, Cameron (Who is a major major part of the absolutely dustbin fire that is Brexit, a huge reason we've had so many issues to do with immigration which is pushing people towards Reform) and countless other contributors to the worst government in my lifetime. Not to mention it's previous "right honourables" in Johnson (the criminal), Truss (who literally crashed the economy), Raab, Hancock, Reece-Mogg etc. You're right though, this isn't a Labour government like the ones previous, and there is definitely a worry that they're not the party for us woke lefties anymore but the change that's actually needed (in my opinion of course) either isn't there or isn't substantial enough a threat to the Tories. My major worry is the momentum that Reform are building DESPITE them being shown up for what they are and what they're built on. My biggest wish would be that the Lib Dems kick the Tories into third and become the opposition but there's not much chance of that happening unfortunately. |

It will be a Labour vote from me, unsurprisingly, though I too am not completely won over by them and understand the "Tory's in red ties" line that people are coming out with but that said, there's very little other option to seriously rid the country of the absolute shambles we'd have for the last 14 years. The amount of people I hear and see wanting to vote for the Racist UK Party both saddens and worries me greatly that the whole country might see a bit of an uprising in the next 10 years from the very right of politics. |

Chris Conn-Clarke, Altrincham's top goalscorer with 22 goals last season looks set to sign for Peterborough United for £350,000 plus add-ons.

Of course it would make a difference and it would be amazing to get that figure and think we would get that figure if we were an EFL club but we're not. Not sure if Transfrmarket is reliable for fees but according that that, there's only ever been one transfer that's ever hit £500,000 out of the National League and that's Jack Taylor who joined Peterborough from Barnet and played nearly 40 games last season for Ipswich in the Championship. George Nevett isn't anywhere near that standard or profile I don't think. It would be brilliant to get that type of money for I think £300,000 plus whatever add-ons is much more realistic at our level. |

We can't hold out for much more than about £300k at our level, players just don't go for more than that when you drop into non-league. I think it's inevitable Nevett goes but he'll need replacing well. Without Nevett, we have Ebanks-Landell and Ferguson as centre half options, possibly Gordon too but I think we needed a centre half regardless of Nevett going, should he go, I think we need two. |

I disagree that should be it for wingers. Jez Uchegbulam I don't think offers enough and we've lost Sinclair and Hayes. I reckon we still need two wingers, along with at least one centre back, two if Nevett goes, three if Nevett and Ebanks go, a defensive midfielder to replace Clayton and probably and attacking midfielder so we have options to change it up, at least one, maybe two full backs if John goes, a striker if Rodney goes and a goalkeeper. And that's a minimum I think. |

Season tickets went on sale on 5th June last year. No new signings had been made then, though Gilmour came in on the 9th and was followed shortly after by Mitchell and Johnson on loan. Jimmy Keohane was the only player signing a new deal and that was 23rd June. Kits weren't on sale until the beginning of July. |

A quick look online shows that last season, we'd sold 1100 in the first 10 days, we're at 8 days now and sold just 450. |

Updated again, still most Championship sides to announce their retained/released lists and there's 5/6 from Leagues One, Two and the National League but that's always expected with the playoffs still to be played in the EFL. |

I'd argue that a big part of us being in the financial situation we found ourselves in was, in part at least, down to us not making money from easy wins, where we can. I think as a fan base, we've become used to everything being cheaper than other clubs which is great on one hand but when we need to make money as a football club, new ideas and existing ideas used by other clubs need to be explored and the idea of admin costs is one. I saw recently that Oldham are charging £10 for their fans forum, everything we do like that is free like fans forums and End of Season Awards Nights etc. If charging more for season tickets and charging nominal fees for things we usually get for free makes us more financially stable then I'm all for it. |
