It makes no sense that this could even happen the way it appears to have.

Big investigation and Secret Service / Security detail sackings or worse. People have been tragically killed/ injured and when you see the videos and see more details emerging it makes less and less sense to me.

Has there been any confirmation yet what injured Trump whether it was actually a bullet graze or debris/injury from him being protected just after the shots sounded? I read that PA State Police / Secret Service suggested it was teleprompter glass?

Sh*te World Cup imo despite some really great moments in the knockout stages; don’t think any team played consistently great either (Morocco we’re very good value throughout)

Great / fantastic final from about 70th minute onward barring the 2nd Argentina goal.
Brighton player was pretty great this tournament as well along with Greizmann and a couple of the Morocco midfielders.

I have the same for u7 and u10 - they’d have learnt far more from what was planned to go ahead with silences etc than the alternative IMO.

Professional football will be *postponements* with rescheduling (if you’re not considering the people who’ll be financially out of pocket because of this decision during a cost of living crisis)

But they’ve cancelled *all* FA affiliated football including grassroots nationwide this weekend!
Some of this *might* get rescheduled but I’d wager the majority is just completely cancelled.

I don’t agree with the postponement / cancellations - the Cabinet Office and Royal guidance is pretty flexible that it’s down to individual organisations.

Seems like a PR driven thing from the FA; don’t like the implication that going ahead is somehow disrespectful. Especially as they’ve cancelled (and a lot of it will be cancellations not postponement) all grassroots football this weekend. What’s disrespectful about my 9 year old playing 7aside for an hour with a minutes silence etc?

Think it's reasonably clear now from info, docs and photos I've seen from (some of what I'd consider reputable) journalists to see that he's either;

Faked a positive PCR test as a route into Australia to compete

Or

Really got Covid but not followed any isolation rules after the positive test and been out and about - potentially spreading it to unknowing govt officials, kids and journalists/media at public events in the days after the test.

Comes off a bit like our current govt - as a 'rules are for other people' scenario.
