Trouble in Legoland on 20:43 - Oct 10 by jacksinceever | In what respect? BBC Football website report that "Cardiff City deny reports they asked manager to resign" As I'm tired at the moment I can't remember all the details, but believe it was Crawley Town youth team manager (by the name of Curtis?) was our manager for 6 days or so? Details aside, it was the worst appointment ever in the history of Swansea City, and the current decisions being made at Cardiff are equally unbelievable [Post edited 10 Oct 2013 20:44]

Interesting view given the shares sold were those held by CMB, not his own as far as I'm aware.

Indeed, directors of CMB. A company. As opposed to shares held by Borley personally. Don't let little things like business facts spoil your argument though.

As I said I'm tired - not been well I forgot the name of Kevin Cullis from Cradley Heath - big f****n deal. Point of the post was that the appointment of Alisher Apsalyamov is virtually the equivalent to Cardiff as prospective Chairman Michael Thompson appointing Cullis as manager on 8th February 1996 (for those hung up on facts!) As for plastic Darran, you know me better than that

So you genuinely believe Borley wont get the money paid into his company ? I am surprised you are not a little disheartened that a genuine Cardiff money man like Borley is leaving the board. I have met him a couple of times and he obviously a genuine Cardiff fan Your not our mate Vinny are you ?
Trouble in Legoland on 22:18 - Oct 10 with 2323 views | Lord_Bony | What I don t understand is this. If Tan owns 100% of the shares he owns the club lock stock and barrell. He can what he likes with it,it s nobody's business anymore. If he wants to treat it as a corporate plaything or tax dodge then it s nothing to do with the fans or anyone else. The time for protest has long past. They are at the mercy of this madman.i predicted this would happen a long time ago. It s business and it s all above board,he s not doing anything wrong really,it s all legal

Sigh. Other than salary, legitimate expenses and contractual bonuses, the only way money would be drawn out would be via dividends, which are from profit. Running a company doesn't give carte blanche to use the company bank account as a personal piggy bank. Hence my distinction. The CMB shares are being sold. Any personally held by Borley are a different matter. Who says I'm not disheartened Borley is leaving? He's got and had little power for a long long time. He also may or may not be leaving the board because he's been asked to stay on as a director. Borley's words on twitter, posted yesterday. I've also met Borley a few times and he's definitely a genuine fan. I also know how much time and effort he's put into the club over the years when things were even worse than now. I also know he reluctantly took on the chairman role during that difficult time and how much hassle he had as a result. Even now you get f***wits accusing him of getting his pound of flesh by selling shares! Borley points out work he's done for the club made no profit, gets accused of lying. After all, no company does something for no profit one intellectual fan claimed. Borley had to point out his company turnover in response. Fact is, he gets a lot of s*** as if he's supposed to be a great superhero fighting off all the bad guy. Reality isn't like that. Quite frankly, if Borley chooses not to remain on the board I can't blame him. I'd also have respect for his decision, he's served his time and taken a load of crap. Borley seems convnce
