iPad help 19:42 - Dec 28 with 2777 views | Snipper | If I want to watch football, cricket etc on an iPad, how much data would I use to watch a normal 90 minute match in a non wifi area? Thanks.
iPad help on 19:47 - Dec 28 with 2760 views | Lewes_r | I think you can figure it out through the bit-rate you'd need a fast mobile signal to stream though.. I'd guess low quality for 90ms would be around 100mb (i pulled this figure from my arse btw)

iPad help on 20:22 - Dec 28 with 2711 views | Sudbury_Hill_R | Wouldn't bother with 90 mins. We only play for10. Which 10 is anybody's guess.
iPad help on 20:42 - Dec 28 with 2672 views | spiritofshittu | Not a great idea streaming any video content on 3G. You could eat 2-3 gig in a match...

iPad help on 23:42 - Dec 28 with 2504 views | AndyB | Watched the Swansea game last year on my iphone - only second half and watched about ten mins on / 10 mins off to save data. Still munched best part of a gig though. Will have the same dilemma for Sunday i'd imagine, as I'm away again - although vodafone have given me a whole 2 gb to play with now!

:-) How many have looked that up and are now wondering if there is a history for apps searches that should be deleted? (I did and I am)

For the test cricket, 9600 bps should do...
iPad help on 07:35 - Dec 29 with 2408 views | DWQPR | When I got my iPad two years ago I signed up with 3, and for £25 per month, got unlimited downloads. Also the iPad was half price compared to everywhere else.

If you are a driver on the Picc Snipper then I can recommend iTrackernet app. Type in your train number and see where it is. Saves waiting around on the platform at Acton Town! Actually, it's a good free app for anyone wishing to know when their next train is due on the tube. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

I've looked for ages and found nothing. You can get flash apps to allow you to play some sites but I've never had any success trying to play any live streams for football. If you find a solution let us know!
