Thats a good point - I remember listening to an interview with Brian Mcdermott who was very annoyed that it had been reduced to five subs and that he felt many clubs used it as a "we MUST have 7 experienced" subs so it was seen to be causing finacial problems, where as he would rather A. Stick a YTS lad in the squad to get some matchday experience B. Just not have the extra sub.
