I am in China for a few weeks and seem to be a few bands I have never seen. Anyone rate the following ( + who are they similar to/type of music they play):-

Friendly fires
Dave Stone ( from Australia I think)
King Salami and the Cumberland 3
Josh Stone is playing but not really my music unless anyone rates her Live

friendly fires v good - paris , jump in the pool, Hawaiian air etc both albums worth a listen and there set will be lively and fun.
glasvegas - good, lyrically and musically much deeper and darker than ff. first album is great. daddys gone, geraldine, flowers and football tops, go square go etc stand outs. not listened to the second album.

The thing about music opinion is just that, it is opinion and it depends on individual taste. Friendly Fires are excellent at what they do, and so are Glasvegas. Liked them both enough to buy their debut albums but not quite enough to get the next one. Friendly fires do look excellent live.
