into 7's John; hope your on already. if they get any decent rainfall Giles Cross might be a decent shout; stays all day and only got 10-1 to carry. Pipes have been plotting Junior for this all year too. good guide here http://www.oddschecker.com/grand-national-betting-guide.html [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

im on but unfortunatley only at 7's but best odds if it drifts again, Junior is interesting as ive also been told Pipe's got high hopes of Junior's chances so will have a little punt on this too. I also fancy Riverside Thearter in the 3.05 today and have this to win and in a reverse f/cast with HuntBall

Hunt Ball is a freak; fair play to the loon of an owner if it defies the latest rise in weights; gone up about 80lbs in a season! I poo-poo'd it at Chelts; so will refrain from passing comment today. Have RT in a multie with Big Buck's & Al Ferof and a split stakes for Dodging Bullets & Grumeti.

Cheltenham Gold Cup day was a winner from the off with me, some mad scouse man offered me £10 for my ticket stubb when I just got in so took his tenner and stuck that on Countrywide Flame in the firs race whcih came in at 33's, the rest of the day was a free blur.

forgot about our other common interest! could have given you a lift to Chelts as I drive past you on the way. I thought Countrywide Flame set the tone for a crap Friday for me; but after the second it all went well. was about to start screaming for a stewards enquiry as CF was all over Grumeti.

good shout; should suit the flatter track as didn't quite get the hill at HQ. had a little interest having backed him before; dropped in handicap since then and better off for it.

Massive £1.5m gamble on Big Bucks today. The biggest ever single bet laid out apparantly. It was put on by a syndicate at a bookies in Town. One of the syndicate members was the one and only GP!!!

The Grand National on 21:42 - Apr 12 with 3202 views | Hunterhoop | Funnily enough, I've just done my betting for the National. There are actually four horses I like, which I fully appreciate is cheating somewhat. Although, in my defence, the field is very large and this appears to be a very competitive race this year. West End Rocker is my main tip and my main horse for the race in terms of stake. However, I think Chicago Grey, Becauseicouldntsee & Shakalakaboomboom are all very good value. You should be able to find them at 14/1, 18/1 & 20/1 now but they will come down in price. Thought Giles Cross would have been in with a great shout (along with Le Beau Bai, who beat him in the Welsh National but has been pulled due to the ground not being soft enough), but I don't think there's been enough rain. A heavy downpour in Aintree between now and the race will help Giles Cross. However, they've said they're going to have to water the course before the race (ground is already good to soft/good in places). West End Rocker meets most of the 'Trends' that are worth looking at for the National. p.s. anyone fancy a little bet tomorrow (Fri): Darlan, Silviniacio Conti, Albertas Run & Cotton Mill would be my tips...maybe have a Yankee on it.

Jockey Shorts In lane 6. Clean Sheets In lane 7. Thighs In lane 8. Big Willy In lane 9. Heavy Bosom In lane 10. Merry Cherry They are off Conscience is left behind at the gate. Jockey Shorts and Silk Panties are off in a hurry. Heavy Bosom is being pressured. Passionate Lady is caught between Thighs and Big Willy is in a dangerous spot. At the halfway mark It's Bare Belly on top, Thighs open and Big Willy is pressed in. Heavy Bosom is being pushed hard against Clean Sheets. Passionate Lady and Thighs are working hard on Bare Belly. Bare Belly is under terrific pressure from Big Willy. At the stretch Merry Cherry cracks under the strain. Big Willy is making a final drive. Bare Belly is in and Passionate Lady is coming. At the finish It's Big Willy giving everything he has and Passionate Lady takes everything Big Willy has to offer. It looks like a dead heat but Big Willy comes through with one final thrust and wins by a head... Bare Belly shows... Thighs weakens... Heavy Bosom pulls up and Clean Sheets never had a chance."
