🔴 Likely candidates for the Swans job 19:37 - Feb 17 with 18536 views | KeithHaynes | Let’s start with the ones who are way out of their depth. Rob Page Garry Monk. The Swans need to be focussed and a proper manager who knows the Championship and has been successful is the only answer. Quit dreaming about idiots 👍

đź”´ Likely candidates for the Swans job on 07:11 - Feb 18 by pete | this next appointment will give us an idea of where the new owners/board want to go,will they just be plodding along or like brum go for it? whoever they decide on will need money to spend and if they want to be contenders and stay in this div( as a first priority) they need to go for a top draw experianced guy (who will cost a few bob) he will want a budget to bring in guys in the summer and might even convince Mr Darlling to stay to help take the club upwards maybe?, again more money, its not going to be done on the cheap sorry to say, can it be done within the fair play rules ? not sure as they are hoping to change, but for me this next appointment with our new D O F now in place will show what the new owners are aiming for got everything crossed that is going to put Swansea back in a competative spin upwards and not the other way |
My gut feeling is that the new owners will spend in the summer providing they are in the championship and FFP allows. There is serious money about with them and they don't seem to be the type to want to fail.

Really can’t see anything more than 5M being available, unless we sell more players. I can think of Mykola, Yates, VIP ( possibly too early) etc. Take half hits on them, after all this is the new era, it’s pretty much rip it up and start again. Lewis O’Brien who is on stupid money ( Swans pay around 100k a month plus all those incentives he had ) can’t be considered and MPH will leave. Delcroix will cost a fair bit. Darling looking unlikely. There’s salary freed up there. So many players out on loan that need to know their futures, Kyrell Wilson looks the only real prospect. It’s another rebuild, new head coach and staff, players to be released or sold. Of course Kyle Naughton may retire and possibly Joe Allen, we are back in phase 1 as much as we were when relegated.

đź”´ Likely candidates for the Swans job on 17:38 - Feb 21 with 1839 views | ncswan | I still think (and hope) they'll give Sheehan a couple of games to see if he can just keep them up. No sense in spending money on fees just to pry a manager from a contract with another team who might need a couple of games to get acclimated to the Championship League. Sheehan's seen every team once already this season. If he wins a couple of games over a short span of games, then let him finish the season. I think the players really respect him and will be up for tomorrow's game. COYS!

Keith 5m won't even scratch the surface, why 5m PSR or because they won't want to spend?

Cotterill Congreve and Wilson can all step up. Swansea need to develop a goal keeper as well and not pay big wages for veterans. Why is Watts not on the bench? Cotterill and Wilson are ready. Parker and perhaps Glory after his US spell. I would go all out for Low and CR17 on frees and make Connor captain on decent money. He has the edge that Grimes never had. Ash Williams edge. Wilson and Parker have real gas and Ginnelly and Yates wilm be back. Bianchini Vipotnik Eom Tymon Key all have potential and the club needs a coach that improves players. The new man must assess Yates and Kuharevych in pre season. In my opinion a limited big lump can still be of use off the bench. Both Yate and Cullen ars poached and feed of knock-downs generated by muscle. Chippo Motting played for FC Bayern for a few seasons and the Spanish guy Joselu that could not cut it here played for Espana. . [Post edited 21 Feb 20:08]

If Wycombe go up and we go down, why would Low come to us?
đź”´ Likely candidates for the Swans job on 05:39 - Feb 22 with 1081 views | Swans9 | The rebuild looks massive time will tell a bit like the forum being moved the club is in turmoil. We getting outplayed at home by Sheffield Wednesday who were without bannon against us and they lost 4 nil last night to Burnley. Conner Roberts scored and played well going forward. Another one like J Ayew sold on the cheap. On the face of it we are acting like a league 1 club. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

How can you say that Wilson is ready yo step up? 4 games and 2 assists (both in the same game) at Yeovil in the conference, suggests he will have a career but doesn't mean that he will be ready for the Championship by the summer. It's a big jump up to being a first team regular 3 divisions above.

I don't waste my time replying to him anymore mate. He makes vague statements like "could step up" to back up his opinion, anyone could step up few do. He's just a WUM with no substance and not worth a reply.

Yates is out of contract next summer. I doubt that he would want to come back here. The best thing to do would be to sell him at any price someone will pay over the summer.

I do not like this sort of post. I would never do this to you as I have respect for the forum. This sort of post discourages discourse and therefore bad for the owners charitable cause. I contribute on both pages and open new threads. Intimidating and patronising poster is why people read posts but do not contribute. People like you are the reason why. Mind your own business. People can make their own judgement. This forum should not be 10-12 contemptuous posters I have seen Wilson a dozen times and he is a threat. Dan James did nothing at Shrewsbury. Wilson was MOM in his first game and two assists on his latest game. Wilson is more mature than Govea who has played. [Post edited 22 Feb 12:58]

I'd love to get him down here for an interview and then lock him in a room with Chico Flores :)
