Morning all.
I am of the feeling most of the hardy souls who traipsed along last night were there to see us get the abject Cardiff display out of our system by a decent win against a scratch league 1 side .
What they witnessed would have ensured the Luke doubters stay well aw@ from future games .
It was beyond comprehension.
Were they that insouciant ?
A tie with Aston Villa was Wycombe reward .
And what did they do?
They picked what what available and placed them in positions where they were comfortable ,got organised and had a go right from the start . They realised how pitiful we were immediately and went on the front foot getting a lovely goal as reward . They then tightened the screw and dint really look on any trouble at all.
I’ve said before we are so predictable and easy to play against . Last night a perfect example .
We have the unedifying ,persistent “ captain” literally walking around th3 field thinking he’s some English reincarnation of Pirlo . To have such an obsession with sideways,backwards passing is plain wrong . His stats lie and mislead .He is excruciating to watch and kills most forward opportunities .
We have new players in that look lost . They must feel very far away from home . They is a culture barrier and possibly a language issue . We have a coach that cannot inspire ,organise or lead them.
We see a completely one footed Pedesen playing right side from the off and four left footed players in defence to go with the totally one footed captain . What is going on ?
