Noel Milleskog puts himself in the Swansea shop window on 19:51 - Aug 15 by onehunglow | It really should be simple I’ve seen already this season, excuses n being made and attacks on fellow fans when these attacks should be aimed at those who coach and set up teams. We play a certain way, every team knows that . We don’t change . We won’t . No matter what . Fans are drifting away and those that are not are quiet and give the impression of going as a matter of duty . This hurts but it’s true . Fans won’t be coming back in a hurry. Made worse by the inane drivel from Williams post match against a ten man Gillingham team that scored against us whilst one man down . Alarm bells should be ringing very loud There was enough quality last season to finish top six They might even be this season Fact is the way they are miscoached and mismanaged creates the issues that see us lower table with lower crowds . When this is pointed out, some get defensive ,which is understandable really. Why? It’s because we are hurting and yearn for our Mojo back . It won’t under Williams . He won’t last this season. |
Far to early to write him off, I think we need at least 5 games for the new signings to bed in, I have no doubt Boro are top 6. We will know more after Preston

Absolutely nobody in their right mind should do that until at least Sunday 😂 We’ve invested in Luke, his team and also brought him in players who seem a lot better than we have. Nobody can write anything off. It’s madness to do so. But they can criticise him for that shower on Tuesday.

We rarely see us transition from defence to attack quickly, we rarely have runners attacking down the middle, we rarely see us attacking with a quick break out of defence, we rarely play the ball out wide quickly to create 1 v 1’s, we rarely whip the ball in early from the wings, we rarely load the penalty area at speed, we rarely have runners going beyond and turning the defensive line, the players rarely play with imagination. I don’t know why as I’m sure the players have the ability to do all this and more, perhaps as the season progresses we’ll see it happen. I think we have a team which should easily finish mid table but the manager has to let the brakes off.

After watching his interview after the cup game I’m more concerned he’s written himself off.

Noel Milleskog puts himself in the Swansea shop window on 19:02 - Aug 14 by raynor94 | Been saying it since the Euros, teams are playing far more high tempo, with wingers getting crosses in. Even Gillingham supporters saying they feel sorry for our striker |
We would get to the edge of the box on Tuesday evening , only to have slight pressure from Gillingham player and back it went, I felt really sorry for our striker when being subbed, they gave him nothing to have any chance at goal | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I'd be more concerned if Zan found himself on the subs bench tomorrow on the strength of LC scoring that tap in on Tues esp. when Zan got no sort of service at all during the game

Exactly how I feel Cullen git lucky Zan was unlucky He might think he’s unlucky in deciding to come to us. We have history of not looking after decent players at the expense of average ones ,like Fulton . We will play the same way this Saturday ,I feel. Williams will trot out the same claptrap

I hope we do play the same way, but far quicker with courage.

^^^ This 100% Issue we will have is when teams sit back and not press. When teams press it makes you have to move the ball around more and be more creative/adventurous. When teams put 9/10 players being the ball it's a lot more difficult to find the space. Yes we can pump crosses into the box but then you leave yourself wide open for the counterattack.

Should Zan have scored or was he not yet up to speed, looked a bad miss but at least he got himself in the right position and seemed to have lost his marker.

Yes he should but ,as yiu say, at least he was thee . I want him to be a success so much . He could ,indeed should be vital. Incredibly ,he was overlooked against gillingham. Captain grimes responsible for this. I see much let’s support Luke but little on the cruel players . They are shackled ,to me,anyway. They are much better than what we have seen thus far .

No not even half a chance, not a great cross and he did well to even touch it.
