Toyed with this idea last season. Shall we have a thread to discuss, comment on, cover the rest of the league? A place to discuss other teams’ results, performances, financial implosions, etc?

For example, last night, anyone catch either of the first two games? I didn’t. But somewhat surprised/worried Blackburn scored 4 given how they are meant to struggle. Was it Derby being utter sh*te?

Sounds like Preston are continuing in the same vein of being incredibly dull.

Clive, what do you think? Worth making a sticky? Might reduce the number of threads to manage.

I was talking to a few Plymouth fans in the pub after the game on Saturday, and I mentioned about him normally scoring against us,but they said that he’d been rubbish most of the season.

Nahki Wells scores for the Qpr old boys against Wednesday but they immediately strike back. 2-1

Watched the 2nd half of Sheff Weds v Bristol City: bizarre tactics from Wednesday.
W’re bossing the game against a poor City and one up then Nakhi scored against the run of play.
Wednesday immediately go up the other end and score to deservedly take the lead again.
However they then all drop back and invite City to have waves of attacks against them with loads of chances before the inevitable equaliser.
Absolutely no need to do that as Bristol City had done very little all game: Wednesday were loudly booed off at the end.
Bodes well for Saturday.

As tremendous as Plymouth's new manager's speech was, it clearly isn't helping much.

Whits could not be arsed against us; only in the last 10 mins did he have a go to try to be a hero and get a goal back.

It didn't work, so now I suspect he wants out while there is a window. He is a very skilful player, more RW than CF despite his height. Its a shame when players phone it in, at least always angry Bannon has never done that.

zzzzzzzzzz

Either last season was his 'Mike Sheron at Stoke' season or it's second season syndrome. A bit of an unknown quantity last season but not now.

Poll: Which is the worst QPR team?

Don't underestimate the Wayne Rooney effect... He had Schumacher for most of his time there, then Wayne came through the door - probably side on to get through - and killed the momentum.

I don't think this latest move is too smart though, I doubt the players will trust a new manager so quick to hang a team mate out to dry...

This will shock you all to your core, but Twitter rumours are saying that Watford want to replace Tom Cleverley with some no-mark Spanish manager. Would be very amusing but very on-brand if its true

Watford fan at work reckons Cleverley is toast. Made a few prickly press conference comments about January transfer activity so that’s the end of him.

He's done a pretty good job with them but they haven't sacked anyone for a year so makes sense

A year? He must qualify for a statue in Vicarage Lane.

Rumours are that Tom Cleverley is to be replaced by a Spanish manager called José Rojo Martín, most commonly known as Pacheta * shrug *

On the plus side, if this goes horribly wrong then that could be one less play-off rival ;-)
