If the stadium accidently burned down... on 20:14 - Jan 7 by PunteR
Good luck trying to set fire to concrete and steel.
Family folklore
My grandads dad burnt down his carpet shop in an insurance fraud claim - but was preosecuted so moved from Wales to Coventry and ended up his days as a night watchman - a major downgrade in the society of pre war britain
Often wondered since if his predicament was the forethought for the phrase "Sent to Coventry" as the family and his good name took a massive hit !!!!

Back up...concrete you say! Any chance it was possibly, reinforced and aerated?
Knowing QPR, we probably ignored the building codes of the time and built a far stronger fortress, and no one running the show back in the late 70s/early 80s could see the impending disaster that was to be Tony Fernandes 40 years later.
Typical, we can't arrange a simple insurance job with decades to plan it!!

Surely with a bit of proper planning there must be a way ?
And wouldn't we all just hope they decided not to rebuild. We could all just walk away, say thank you for the memories and be put out of the misery we would otherwise continue to be subjected to. I can't see any other escape.
