wind your neck in 🙄😂

In fairness it wasn't only the NE corner, there was quite a few by me in the centre of the East chanting it. I think the board are lucky we won or it would have been worse. Two away matches coming up, we will see how it goes after that, but the mood is definitely changing that was the feeling at halftime.

"You Yank bast*@ds, get out of our club" and "You can stick your flipping dollars up your arse". Who exactly do these Eisteins think will pay the bills and keep the club solvent.

I'm far from their biggest fan, but am realistic.

Careful what you wish for !!!

That was dreadful but hopeful of improvement in the next 45 minutes, 2 good chances and decent save by Cornell and Lowe offside and we could have been 1 up.
I feel Madeley is beginning to build up his pantomime villian persona ,how that ***to is still refing beats me

Thankful for the win,its still very dire ATM

madley is here to stay....old pals act i think.
we need the capt to shape up, and s decent manager in quick, or the situation sorted!

That first half was hard work, better game in the second half, just. 2 very well taken goals by Paterson, excellent assist by Grimes for the first.
Vauable, and much needed 3 points.

There is nothing wrong with letting the board know that you are not happy. It's not as if they're going to walk, yet.

Anyway, back to the football, astonished that Fulton played all game wheras Patino didn't get a minute. The midfield is our problem, too deep, too slow and far too predictable.

Patino was a waste of a sub place, his club want to move him on and not risk an injury.

Edit

Thoroughly agree with your points about our midfield.

7 out of 12 points, think we had the better chances but we really need to cut out the stupid defensive errors which have led to goals in the last two home games.
If you take away the really poor goals conceded we have looked relatively comfortable in our defensive set up giving very little away, we know that there is a lack of positive forward movement from our very wary midfield duo but they have now started to venture further forward, Fulton should have shot with two very good scoring opportunities and Grimes push on to assist in Paterson's first goal, we may ask why are they wary of pushing up and the answer the lack of pace they have which in turn stops them at times getting close enough to commit to a challenge.
A better more commanding midfield would punish us.
3 points today great.
both Key and Tymon come off playing next game?
Wood looked very timid
Southampton game should be interesting.

Just back from the game.
A much needed 3 points.
The standard wasn’t up to much, we scraped over the line but boy is it poor.
Two well taken goals by Patterson, cool, calm and measured.
Decent crowd - some on here who perhaps don’t go often thought it would be very low.
Good atmosphere, got behind the team.
But plenty of anti Yank songs second half, which I am sure will continue.
Some of our players just can’t do the basics.
Fulton for example, I often wonder why when he heads it, he heads it as hard as he can, as far as he can. Every time. Like a primary school kid who has never been coached. No direction.Just wham.
Unbelievable for a modern player playing in the second tier of English football.
How he gets in before Patino is a mystery.
Lowe - has he ever won a header against a centre half ? Probably not.
Lots of unnecessary flicks today which lost us possession. Frustrating.
But 3 points, that will do.
Stop the fist pumps temporary coach.

Not sure I'd vlame those playing, true they are more defensively minded and therefore are offering little going forward.
But its the manager who is picking a team with only 2 players that i would consider attacking (Lowe and Pato).

Poll: When will Russell Martin no longer be Swansea manager?

Think Duff was a poor fit from day 1, other than that I wouldn't really know, rumours about deals being pulled last minute etc are just rumours to me. Obviously others may know different.

Maybe it's a reminder to them that the supporters shouldn't nor cannot be taken for granted ,most of us are wise enough to accept like managers there's not exactly a queue lining up for either position ,but a gentle show of dissatisfaction never hurt anyone ,except those of course who are easily offended

They aren’t going anywhere and they treat the fans with barely hidden contempt anyway. I don’t think it does any harm at all. Much better than the resigned acceptance and dwindling crowds we’ve been seeing lately.

I’d rather something like ‘useless baastards’ than ‘Yank baastards’ but that’s another story. It’s about the way they are running our club, not where they are from.

Duff went from one playing style to another, first off it was get the ball quickly forward from the back very often loosing control of the game in the midfield with the ping pong football that ensued while the forwards lacked the support to hold the ball up, he then reverted to the possession football which worked in games with Patino's involvement the ball was able to be moved quickly up the middle but even then we lacked an outlet on the right as things would become slow and easy to defend.
To give Duff a bit of slack we lost a number of players to injuries and transfers out although a number and timing of his substitutions were questionable but if he was having to travel all the time how could he possibly see what was happening with his players on a day to day basis.

As for the style of play the temporary manager has tried to adopt especially in the last two games, I'm sure the fact that Patino will be on his way back to Arsenal has been a big factor in why he hasn't been picked and so has influenced his team selection, we seem to have a better shape at the back and an outlet on the right with Key protecting the rightback position and is starting to provide an attacking threat down the flank while on the other side we are a bit unbalance which leaves Tymon less options in front of him so the play forward stops.
We did play with a faster tempo with some nice interplay in the middle but without the options on both flanks it sometimes ended becoming too tight and instead of being controlled passing it became clever little flicks that as under Duff that didn't come off and often leading to breakaways resulting in free kicks being given away and Madley's yellow cards which he freely gives, think Darling was lucky not to be given a second when PNE worked us to get the goal scorer one on one with him.
Thought Walsh played well and out of the more attacking players had better movement off the front line which if static offers very little time and space for the ball to be play first time, with him dropping deeper at times it let Grimes and Fulton forward, Fulton in the box should have shot instead of passing but to be fair was Lowe actually offside and as for the chance when the goalie was out of position Fulton should have done better.
How many times have we seen that a first time ball played quickly catches teams off guard, Grimes pass for the second goal and yet high up the park "we don't risk it" but in defence we do!
Did the temp manager get the team selection right and did the substitutions work, just about, especially the enforced ones lucky to have a tentative Wood back and PNE didn't get the ball out to their danger man to attack Naughton's lack of pace because he had a bit of success against Darling.
Think we will have a big problem if both Key and Tymon are injured but with Wood and Pedersen having game time with the u21s might ease the issue.
Did we attempt to throw the game away again with bad decisions yes but the manager has very little say in spur of the moment choices from players who should know better.

Was the owners quote of the temp manager will be in charge for the next two games an invitation to Sheehan to prove himself?
