Blackburn Rovers v Swansea City : Matchday Thread 2022/23 UPDATED on 16:53 - Feb 19 by Dr_Parnassus | Let us down for what? Again, if we kept up the form of the first half of the season all the way to the end - we still would have come 4th, still would have faced 3rd place Brentford. |
Those thirteen points lost would have put us in the automatic places. Plus there were other points we threw away

Not sure. However to some points thrown away under Martin are the end of the world. Yet points thrown away under Saint Cooper don't count at all. Some double standards there maybe ? For those that support the club, points wasted under any manager hurt just as much

you started it! you brought up the points lsot under Cooper We have thrown loads of points away under MArtin but its worse because under MArtin we arent picking up nearly as many as we should be which makes the last minute giveaways even more infuriating

Where are we in Kindergarten ? I didn't but does it matter ? The important and ultimate point is that since we got relegated we have not finished in the top two once. Not under Potter, Cooper or Martin. The nearest we came was the final against Brentford and that for most was a massive disappointment. Surely we all want to watch a good successful footballing side. Throwing away points is not part of the plan - any season

What 13 points? First half of the season we got 42 points, second half of the season 36. If we kept up the form right to the end we would have for 84 and a club record at this level. ….and still come 4th.

As illustrated earlier, the 13 points lost in a bad patch between March & April. That would have given us 93 points rather than the 80 we finished on. This would have seen us finish in second above Watford who had 91. There are also other examples of games we failed to win, that we should have. Martin gets criticised for not winning games, yet Cooper is beyond criticism. Be consistent please

Blackburn Rovers v Swansea City : Matchday Thread 2022/23 UPDATED on 12:18 - Feb 20 by STID2017 | I showed you specifically the games between March and April. You pretend your being vague and your "I don't understand" games. Cooper can do know wrong by you, even now ? |
You did yes. And still there is no mythical 13 points. Again, your maths is flawed. It’s cute you are trying though, but you need far more work.

Count them yourself ... Four defeats and one draw in six matches = How many points dropped ? Exactly. Not rocket science

Because it shows how ludicrous your points have to be in order to serve your narrative. You have realised your maths was flawed and now you are sticking by your guns and stating he should have won every single game. Sometimes STID, you should just hold your hands up and stop digging. You couldn’t even get your wild “win every game” reasoning right.
