Averaging 7 goals a season from midfield assists too. Experienced and has played with both Smith and Walsh. We are crying out for experience to help bring the younger players along. Also if he’s on a free it might mean that we are going to make a serious cash bid for a striker - we’re not exactly flush with money right now. A risk well worth taking in my view. |  |

I am confused as per our strategy...we have Oli Cooper and Dhanda who can play in this role I also see Fulton as more of an attacking Midfielder, I thought we should be looking more for a defensive midfielder, we alredy have 5 forwards though "young" I would have thought we would be looking at developing our exisiting younger players and perhaps finding a striker?

Dhanda was offered a new deal at Liverpool from what I recall. I doubt they considered him good enough to challenge the first team but they might have thought they could grind out a fee for him. Neco Williams and Brewster were probably considered good enough. Brewster was sold for big cash before being fully developed and the same might happen to Neo Williams. |  |
