Finished 3-3

Season all but dead but other than the second goal, a great performance tonight

Gave everything but couldn't get over the line

As gutting a goal as I can rememberer in 50 + years as a Dale fan

Glad I don't have a cat coz I'd have just booted it through the window

The thing is - you just knew something like that was going to happen as soon as 6mins were indicated. I f#cking hate football.

Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10

Regardless, we didn't defend properly.

Again.

The most consistent thing we've done all season.... well that and losing with alarming regularity

What a rollercoaster of a game. I need a lie down. Still hanging on but that should have been 3 points so frustrating. But what a game it was.

At least we can concentrate on getting on BBM, Bottomley and this board out of our club now.

Shambles , we deserve to go down the way we've defended this season, as well as the tactics employed by BBM

Pigott had an awful lot of time and space to bring it down and shoot. They knew we are vulnerable to crosses and looked dangerous swinging it in all night. Gutted, nobody can say we didn't give it a good crack.

Sickening.. at the end of the day the same old problems have sunk us.... can't defend under pressure. Don't have the game management skills to eke out narrow margin wins.

That game sums our season up. Throwing away too many points with really poor defending and game management. Just haven't been good enough.

Or hope Wigan balls it up. But even if it goes to the last game you can't see them getting owt against Swindon.

I'm honestly gutted for you lads and Dale and i would have loved for you to have spent another season in League One,why couldn't Dale have got into their recent form just a couple of games earlier,to lose two vital points so late is gut wrenching

Feels like we have dropped points in the last few minutes on far too many occasions this season. Has anyone got the stats??
Absolutely sickening end to the game but it’s been typical of how we’ve played all year.

Actually attempting to cut out crosses at source would be a start, but we allowed them to do that all night. Got what we deserved.

If we hadn't equalised in the 97th minute on Saturday...

Our game management is so frustrating. For a team that has spent large parts of the season idly passing around to no effect, why can't we deploy that tactic when we need to see a game out. Just keep the ball, simple possession, no risky passes. It's been the same story all season not seeing this type of situation out.

Sadly Chalky we have the players capable of doing it, but the tactics for most of the season have been tosh. You can't win 5 or 6 games at the end of the season and hope everybody else will lose theirs. They did their best tonight and showed we had enough to get 50+ points. But we were relegated two months ago to be honest - before the manager decided to look at the table

Our CEO will be gutted. He was banking on some new "we are staying up" mugs to pay for summer

Looked like summat was kicking off in the tunnel at the end as well. One of the staff (couldn't tell if it was theirs or ours) was being held back from going after someone.

We are joint second in the form tables. Unfortunately alongside Wimbledon and Wigan

Big effort in the last few games but always playing catch up due to the numerous ponderous performances earlier in the season. Took too late to change to a system that suited the players we have. Last few games show that we always had the players to stay up. If/when we go down the next season needs to start by playing the way we are doing, not the way we were playing.
