Senedd election 22:58 - Apr 4 with 21289 views | CwmafanJack | How do you see it ending up? Personally can see labour loosing quite a few votes to plaid not enough to make a significant difference though. Can see the tories doing better than expected but abolish taking votes off them. Odds on labour plaid coalition. Constituency changes can't see many. Plaid to take llanelli and maybe Carmarthen west and south pembs with outside chance Caerphilly, Cardiff west Tories to take Bridgend and maybe one or two up north east Wales. Labour not to win any new seats

Senedd election on 19:35 - May 3 by onehunglow | Flooding over is exactly the term use for those from the sub continent coming to Britain in the 50s and 60s. These are BRITISH people moving around in their own country. Just how sick are you ,pitiful . |

Morning 247. Nope,no way than you misunderstand why my humble self post, which is often. Flooding here is a term used to describe sub continent immigration.Ok so far? This is a term used to describe English migration into Wales. Both countries part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. They are exactly the same, with the same hatred. This is how killy sees england -a threat. It really IS about the language ,hence the puerile student poster like Dreweryn . Finally,TORY Toff-a cracker that and that evidences class hatred. Gwynfor Evans was anything but "working class",certainly very posh toff English speaker ,so it seems toffness can apply to the Welsh too, which show some equality,at least.

Read my post again. I’m on the same side as you in this debate. I welcome English people migrating to Wales and supporting the local economy. I don’t at all subscribe to the notion that local youngsters can’t get on the property ladder because people who have retired here from the South East have bought million pound coastal mansions. I find the barely hidden xenophobia from one or two frequent posters on threads like this embarrassing.

Thanks for the kind mention Perch. Indy is not about the welsh language. Otherwise there would be no Scottish indy would there ? Its about Wales and Scotland ALWAYS voting for progressive parties and yet ALWAYS getting right wing Tory rule with their entitled little Englander xenophobic agenda. Enough. Brexit has ended the imposed sham union. 🇬🇧

Sadly Wales has always voted for old fashion, outdated socialist policies. These have failed time and time again in Wales and worldwide. There is nothing progressive about tired old politics. That is why Wales and the UK voted to leave the deadhand of the EU. If only Wales would grasps the opportunity for a better future instead of Drakeford's misery for another five years.

The people of Wales quite like the welsh nhs, comprehensive education, accessible universities, social care provision, pensions, and top class public service provision. All very successful and popular. I would label that as both progressive and important. I would agree its socialist because Wales is inherently socialist. Thats a very good thing. We don't share the values of self, sleaze, corruption, and xenophobia that middle England appears to value so highly.

Morn Felix I used to be very"proud" to be Welsh but took it too far, evidenced during the RWC of 2003 when I fell out with my own son and best friend .This was utterly due to my narrow minded English arrogance narrative. I made it up with my son but not my friend and I regret that to this day. We always learn in life and being "proud "to be whatever nationality is beset with danger. It is always tedious in mixed company. We are citizens of the world.

The NHS is so bad in in Walse with longer waiting list . Wales cannot even provide the specialist service and has to use the hospitals in Liverpool, Manchester, Chester, Birmingham, Bristol, London and Cambridge to access these. How is it xenophobic to equally like all citizens of the UK, while you continue to show your hatred for the British values and of course your hatred of the English on a daily basis. After 22 rule by labour in the Senedd things have got even worse, longer NHS waiting times, gridlocked M4. It is time the people of Wales embraced a forward thinking new government not the tired old policies of labour and actually vote they way they want to not the way their grandparents and parents voted.

This has been covered before. However,to help killy grow up a little ,try this. Mate of mine was riding his bike along the A494 in Bala and was pronounced dead at scene. His young son was pillion and very badly injured .Decision was taken to fly him by Air Ambulance to Glan Clwyd hopital which proved fatal as they did not have the specialist equipment Walton Hospital for Brain trauma. As far as I know, this is still the case. Cancer ,Brain and Heart specialist hospitals in Liverpool. None on north Wales. North Walians regularly travel across the border for treatment. Clatterbridge ,today, will have many cancer patients. When a Plod,a daily occurence was meeting and escorting the north Wales Ambiwlans as it exited the closed off Wallasey tunnel, for the Liverpool hospitals . Dying for your country really shouldn't be the case now-at least not in peacetime. [Post edited 6 May 2021 8:12]

I thought the NHS was going to benefit from the £350 million a week we are saving from the EU membership.I wonder where that promise went?

Can you provide any evidence, that the British government were going to give the NHS an extra £350,000,000 per week ?. I bet you can’t.

Welsh NHS, worse than the English version and that's not just my opinion. I love the NHS but hate what the Senedd have done to it. Education, Wales is officially the worst in the UK, bottom of the PISA rankings. I hate what the Senedd are doing to our kids futures. Public service, my council tax in Skewen is more expensive than it would be in the same band in Mumbles. I have tried 3 times to request things from y council but revieved nothing. Pensions, what Pensions do the Senedd provide, apart from those for their workers? If you don't think that Wales does sleaze, what do you call it when a public body pays people not to make their complaints public, when they pay them off before going to court as long as they sign an NDA? Or how about the scandals around "Natural Resources Wales"? That famous Welshman David Lloyd George was in scandal up to his eyebrows. Sleaze and scandal are everywhere, anywhere there's money to be made or power to be had. Only the completely blinkered and naive think otherwise.

The Welsh Assembly was largely not responsible for the Welsh NHS’ response to COVID. All of the important stuff was done centrally and funded by Westminster. E.g. The army was largely responsible for vaccine rollout.
