Reading the info on the Stoke game reminded me that their ground is on Stanley Matthews Way, Man Utd have Sir Matt Busby Way etc. Many teams also have stands e.g. The Bobby Moore stand at the old WHU ground.

I met Betty for the first time in Palamos in 2009 on our pre season tour of Spain just after Martinez left & Sousa took over.
It was a fantastic trip and outside a bar on the Saturday night after we’d played Betty & I had been having a beer and chatting about our ‘past experiences’ following the Swans when he said ......
‘There’s 20 Kardiff Kunts staying 10 miles down the road so let’s get a couple of taxis and go beat the phuk out of them’ !!! 😳😳😂😂
We didn’t go but the atmosphere in that bar we were in was fantastic a couple of hundred Jacks in there but once the singing got too much the locals called the law and it all ended in blue lights & a shutdown !!

Palamos was definitely a superb trip, I read somewhere at the time we had 2000 there, I’m not sure about that but I went with the gloucester boys, fcking mental. |  |
