We have been terrible. What bearing the performance of this team has on the first team’s chances in the knockout stages is very debatable. I would say none.

Absolutely right. We’re always shit in these non events with the reserves. Also three marginal forward passes and two dropped balls over the line. 5 tries thrown away in a shit performance by players that will be nowhere near the first team without major injuries. Job done, bring on the Frog.

Amos will never be an international quality rugby player, and neither will A. Davies or Shingler. Moriarty and Beard don’t look over their injuries to me. Oh, and quite why we keep shooting ourself in the foot and not having Rhys Webb there I don’t know. Halfpenny is pretty much shot as an attacking option. So add in the ‘must impress’ effect and the scratch nature of the team and that was pretty much par for the course. As Joe said, impact on next week? Zero.

I do as well. I was wondering - how did rugby become such a big thing in Japan? Anyone know? Most countries that play do so because of colonial links to countries that played rugby. But Japan seems to have just started to play?
