Didn't Henry X111 decree that one must be able to walk the entire Thames on the south side from its source to the sea. I walk it frequently but you have to come off by the old Watneys brewery at Mortlake and again at Kingston. Don't know about the areas to the west of that though. I knowall the pubs though.
Easy for me living in leigh on sea but For those inclined the second world war Maunsell Forts trip off southend on sea on the thames estuary is a fascinating day out.
the bonus is you can negate the historical teachings and high learnings of the day by going to southend sea front afterwards to the forresters pub to watch yeast infected strippers pick up pound coins from the bar with their spiced ham flaps while they dance to the eagles 'one of these nights'.
Magic.

From Source To Sea is a good book by a bloke who walked the entire length of the Thames, it’s written by Tom Cheshire
I’ve been to the official source of the Thames. It’s under a tree in a cow field in Gloucestershire. There’s no actual visible stream or anything so i’ll just have to take their word for it!
When Metallica says he has been looking up bridges, it reminded me of an old girlfriend by the name of Sarah Bridges. i used to spend time looking up her........ She was so damn hot!!
Yeah is Sexy Friday coming back for the new season then? ? Sure Warburton doesn't mind....

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."
