The Interim Board have tasked me with organising a fans forum to assist them with understanding our requirements as fans as we look forward and start planning for next season.
Ben Hatton, Michael Bolingbroke and myself are all confirmed to attend. If Ian Currie is available he will attend as well.
Topics under discussion will include season ticket pricing, travel, requirements of exiles, stand allocation, communication, community engagement, the appointment of an SLO and what can be done to deliver the best matchday experience.
The forum will be held at Rowley’s on Wednesday 27th March commencing at 7pm and will strictly be by invitation only. Non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided.
In order to make the discussion as productive as possible the number of attendees will be limited to 50 to include committee members from BST, BSA, The Muckers and representatives from BASIL, Yorkshire Seasiders, Leyland and Chorley and the TKs.
Having received feedback from those groups I have allocated the places available as follows —
BST/BSA/THE MUCKERS — 4 committee places each
BASIL / YORKSHIRE / LEYLAND AND CHORLEY AND TK’s - 2 committee places each.
In addition BST/BSA/THE MUCKERS will be able to nominate up to 4 additional members each.
I require names / addresses / ages for all attendees and also an indication as to whether (boycott period aside) they have been ST holders and if so for how long.
This information is only being sought for demographic purposes.
Assuming the committee members and general members allocation is fully subscribed that brings us to 32.
I am also going to allocate one place to a disability representative (I have asked Chris Beveridge to attend or nominate).
The remaining 17 places ( and any additional places that come available if any of the groups don’t use their full allocation ) will be made available to the general fan base whether affiliated to a particular group or not.
Assuming there is sufficient interest I will look to allocate fair share to U18’s and Seniors.
Anyone other than serving committee members of the above can email me on timfielding82@icloud.com providing the same information I seek of the fans groups nominations to register their interest in attending . If I am over-subscribed I will draw lots.
The deadline for nominations for the open places is Thursday next 7pm.
Hopefully I will see some of you at Burton tomorrow.

Red the view was not to stream this one
Club Media and Gazette will report whilst note various fans groups will no doubt provide feedback as well
The deadline for nominations closes at 7pm
At present if you apply there is a 50% chance of an invite
TAM
Cheers for the reply.

I'm not particularly fussed either way but what was the rationale for that TAM?
There's going to be 50+ people in that room, many with a track record of doing things their own way - the various factions wouldn't exist otherwise - so I doubt it won't be recorded by somebody. Might as well do it properly in that case.

I guessed as much. Sort of default position for very senior managers. Have come across it myself in the past, really hard attitude to change.

Yes, it'd be nice to have a stream especially as it's on a Wednesday night and I'd have nothing better to do. I'd like to see it.
If the meeting was on a Saturday evening, I'd probably have something else on and wouldn't watch.
Also, it doesn't look like tickets are going like hot cakes.
Taking all that into account from where I'm sat, I wouldn't expect volunteers to go to all the trouble of organising something like that for me personally.
Often, BST publish a video, on YouTube, of these types of events soon after. That again be the case.
Also there'll plenty of reports of what was said. Just have to wait a bit longer.

So a limited few will get the facts and the rest will get a watered down version from the Gazette. Considering the Gazette gets abuse on avftt why use them to report it,why not BST publish the full meet in their column. Will it be the whole meet or just what can be released. Not impressed.

Think you need to chill out a bit. It's an informal chat about a few fans concerns, not the Sermon on the Mount. Don't see why people are so quick to flare up about absolutely nothing.

We're all on chill pills here now Koph.
I dislike meetings, they're always talking shops with very little said.
I cringe when there's one planned at work. They're very rarely productive.
Whatever the difference between a forum and a meeting is I don't know.
This is just a well meaning attempt to reach out to fans and get them back onboard. Hatton and Bolingbroke have been fairly quite until now, probably because they're very busy. They'll just want to introduce themselves, faces can be put to names.

It seems I misread TAM's post.
The forum is oversubscribed.
Oooops.

I thought it said 50% chance 🤔 if we apply. Although I must be having a blonde moment because wasnt sure how that worked.
Anyway it’ll give the interim board a chance to meet some of our fans. Hope they’re all best behaviour. Got to say I’m disappointed with our attendance Tuesday, hope it improves home and away. I thought everyone was desperate to get back.
We’ve got Simon Sadler

How many wild card places are available?? 17??
If so, 34 people have applied.
Can someone do the maths!!

Yup, minimum of 17 places "open", so at the time of that post 34 must have applied.
As it's now been advertised in The Gazette and on the Clubs website, I would guess there will have been more applications, since TAMs last post on it.

TITD if the list of attendees is published it will only be after the event
Can’t think why anyone would feel the need to know that information being as the various fans organisations have chosen their own representatives and the open applications were balloted

Thanks to TAM for the update. I too fail to see why the names of those going is so important. Surely having all the main groups there is what matters? Should be a really interesting meeting and I look forward to reading a summary of it. Is one of the court scribes going to oblige?
